First time going for a work lunch. It was super dark and very tiny tables. I really like going for dinner, more of a dinner,... fun time vibe. The sushi is really good, never had the hibachi but I've seen the show, and they really know how to entertain. On the weekends, you have to be careful, you might just hear the happy birthday song 20 times during one meal, as it is verypopular for birthdays and for good reason. First time here and it was very good. I wish we'd had more interaction between our chef and the guests at the table, but maybe... because there were four minors (high school age-we didn't know them) they can't do the food tossing and/or saki? I willdefinitely be back to get the full experience! Food was terrific and we look forward to another visit. Read more

Umi is a good Japanese eatery in Sheboygan! The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere to it and is not only easy to move... around in but also very clean to! Service was good and attentive on all ends, no complaints there! I liked the food to! Thesebeef rolls I got for an appetizer were yummy and the plate of beef noodles were nice and thick and tasty! I remembered to take a pic of my soup/salad, but when my shrimp fried rice arrived I just dug in. I did get a quick pic of my... sons Bento box before he devoured it. We were there about 1pm, staff all had masks on which we appreciated and were veryfriendly. Definitely will be back, probably sooner rather than later too!!! Read more
Fantastic sushi. This is indeed a family-friendly restaurant. It's an eclectic combination of upscale sushi and a... "Chuck-E-Cheese" whimsy.
