Absolutely delicious! This is a re-invented menu that stays traditional enough to be recogniseable as sugar shack food but it... can definately be considered gastronomic. Not an all you can eat but the portions are quite generous and they let you take theleftovers home. For the price it is well worth the trip. Read more

Erablière Shefford OMG and not in a good way!!! We booked for a Saturday for 12 people for 12:30. Upon arrival at 12:25, we... were seated within less than 5 minutes. Wow pretty efficient!!! If fact that was the best part of the their service. From hereeverything went downhill. Remember, this is a set menu. We don?t have to choose anything. With that in mind, our appetizersarrived one hour later at 13:30. At best, some of the food was warn. The steamed bun was not hot any more. Which mean the bunwas stiff like a cold bread. The pork belly was so thin and hard. More like caramelize firm piece of meat. If you are lookingfor a melt in your mouth pork belly you will be up for a bad surprise. Most of the items were too salty or under seasoned. Theoverall flavour was not very well balanced. At this point we needed some napkins and our waitress was nowhere to be found.After waiting for sometime we went up the kitchen to pick it up our self. As for the presentation of the food, it was to theminimum. Nothing worth mentioning. Look at the pictures for your self. The beet salad was so tiny that we had about a bite perperson. Within minutes we ate everything. At this point we were starving. Unlucky for us, we have to wait another hour to getour main course. To be exact we got it 14:26. Well the presentation was almost like someone threw everything on the pan. Againthe food was not hot. The short ribs was dry and a little too burned. The meatball I didn?t finish mine since it wasn?t great atall. The best thing here was the pastrami. For the desert we didn?t wait an hour?woohoo!!! But it still took about 20 minutes:( The Whippet didn?t taste much of the maple syrup. You can barely differentiate their version with the original. They couldhave put the original and most people won?t even see the difference. As for the carrot cake, this is one of the worse I everate.
