An unlikely gem ???? in the middle of the mountains of a sparsely populated village called Shelburne Falls. Having tasted halal... and middle eastern food across the north-eastern seaboard, Middle Eastern Flavors is unambiguously by far, the best. Overseeingthe Deerfield River and adjacent to the visitor center, the food served here is rustic and original, encapsulating the naturalaspects of western New England. For starters, the moussaka champions the eggplant which is complemented with the sweetness offarm grown bell peppers and tomatoes. In addition, the steamed soft pita is a match made in heaven. The falafel is unique inits own right. Nice bite sized pieces. Very rare since this is made with fava beans. The rice platters with beef and chickenare absolutely amazing. Both proteins are very tender and melts in your mouth. The distinct flavors of each spice can be tastedand well infused. The rice is cooked to perfection with each grain separated. One would hope, that this food cart willtransform into a restaurant in the near future. Read more
Absolutely delicious, and definitely worth a stop. It was a hot afternoon and after a day of networking I was in desperate need... of food. I had walked past the food truck on my way through town and something told me this was not a place I wanted to miss,and oh but was I right! The food was mouthwatering and packed with flavor. This place was beyond phenomenal. The food was ridiculously refreshing and so powerful in spices. It wasn?t greasy or oily and I... did not feel disgustingly full afterwards, more so I felt like I wanted another wrap! It was surprisingly cheap for how muchfood was given as well! The people were so kind as well and very easy to talk with! Please, if you?re in the area or just withinlike a 15 min drive, come here and get some of the best Middle Eastern food near Shelburne! The flavors are amazing, the authenticity is... outstanding, and the staff is friendly and warm, like you are eating out of a mothers kitchen. Being from NY, I?ve had Shwarma hundreds of times. It?s my favorite lunch and the NYC food carts don?t even come CLOSE to what?s... going on at Asma?s Kitchen in Shelburn Falls, MA. I stumbled across them by accident but this little food truck knocked it outof the park! I can?t recommend the Chicken Shwarma enough!!! Literally the best I?ve ever had!!! RUN to Asma?s as quickly aspossible, grab your lunch to go and sit at the Bridge of Flowers around the corner or grab a bench at the Shelburn Falls Dam andwatch the beautiful Falls and Rapids.
