Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had! The girl running the register was extremely rude and unprofessional... and also messed up our order after repeating it to her 5 times. There is no way this girl should be working with the public!!The food (after they fixed it) was surprisingly good tho. Please choose your staff better because we will not be returning. Read more
4am, older black cook and young waitress neither notice me walking in having a seat with only four people together at counter,... after 8mins I wave waitress over, order four eggs with cheese scramble soft, wheat toast,grits and medium soft bacon, which Irepeated twice so I was very clear, 8mins later two guys come in seats in front me, order like a hamburger patty type meal,which would take longer than my order, but they meals can out first! Then 5 minutes later my order comes out with burnt toast,crisp hard bacon ,hard lumps in grits and scramble egg fried hard...not acceptable when it cost $12 to eat half of what I order,not to mention the cook demeanor was over bearing toward server who was ask to come work from another store. Customer comes incomplaining that she's been calling for a pickup order and they must have turned the ringer off..I didn't ask for the cook toredo my order or address the issue because I felt it would not be a good experience so I write this so maybe a owner can lookat his sales while this guy is working and I'm sure it will show a decline in business sales and probably the reason servers areneeded from other stores to help out.... There was only two people working at the Waffle House in Shelby on the day that we went there. The food was OK but the service... was not so much! I wasn't sure why though ???? maybe bc they were understaffed ???????????? The tables were not cleaned off,under the tables on the floor there was food, so the floors had not been swept! There were only about three or four booths wherewe could sit so it seem as if the tables should've been cleaned off. I'm not trying to get anybody in trouble but what is goingon? All of this time there were mostly great comments being said about most waffle houses, but if this particular Wafflecontinue with the horrible customer service and uncleanness; it won't be long b4 it is closed down!!!!!!! I did not take anypics! I don't wish to embarrass the only two people that were working there at that time. I just wish for things to be betterfor them for the long haul! I love coming here but tonight I wish I would have passed on it. The waitress was very disorganized I waited a good 15 minutes... waiting for her to take my order. She brought my food sat it down in front of me and walked away I asked her for utensils shegave me a pack that normally goes in a to go order. Won't come here if she is working. Read more
This place use to be so much better so let?s start how me and my boyfriend went to get breakfast to having black small hairs in... our food. Them bringing us dirty forks and spoons with stuff on them. Them bringing us cold food and then not only that thetotal ended up being 29$ for our horrible meal. Great stop. Fast service even though they were super busy. Jennifer was an awesome waitress, couldn't ask for a better or more... friendly waitress. She even changed our order due to what we ordered to save us some money. That was very unexpected. The best part about this Waffle House is the staff. My office is nearby so I call something in when the grease content in my... blood is starting to get a bit low. The staff are always very friendly on the phone when I place an order and in person when I'mat the restaurant to pick an order up. The food is always ready when they say it will be and, knock on wood, my order is alwaysright. I primarily order the bacon hashbrown bowl and it's always properly cooked and has generous portions. If I'm reallytrying to boost my blood pressure I'll also add a large side (or two) of bacon. The only issue is the food is quite greasy, butif you go to Waffle House and expect to receive food that doesn't have any grease in/on it then you that's on you! I gave them a5 out of 5 stars because I've never had any issues with the staff or food! Great job Waffle House 2286 - keep up the greatwork!! Read more
We were traveling from Gastonia back to Eastern Tennessee. That yellow sign is so inviting. Jennifer was outstanding! One server... told us that they were "to go orders only". Jennifer interceded for us and sat us at a table. Food was great (as usual) andJennifer was so pleasant, attentive and kind! That is why we spend our money here! Read more
