Paul's has been a staple for many years in Shelby. My family loves the food and had visited quite frequently during the season.... Prices increased what seems to be yearly. They have very high employee turnover which makes for inconsistent ice-cream, but thefood has remained consistent and is solid. Management is always kind and courteous to their customers but there leadership islacking toward their employees. There have been many employee corrective actions and terminations via text messages which I feelis unprofessional. Unclear expectations of their employees and poor leadership overall will continue to hurt this business ifthey do not get things turned around. Shelby loves Paul's and does not want to see them go south. Paul's could easily be a 4 or5 star with minimal changes but right now, they are who they are. Read more

This place wassuch a surprise! We were in Shelby and looking for a mom and pop place on Google. Paul's didn't show up when I... searched for restaurants. I just happened to see it on Maps. I am so glad I did! I ordered their Paul Bunyun burger ???? It wasamazing! Rite up there with 5 guys! Their shredded chicken sandwich was also amazing! Can't wait to try their ice cream next! First time. Ordered in drive-thru. Large order with variety. The menu has a great deal of variety. The cashier was pleasant, my... order was made in a reasonable time, especially for the size of my order, everything was correct & well packaged. Everythingtasted great! We got onion rings, fried mushrooms, corn nuggets, deep fried footlong coneys, shredded chicken, sloppy joe, somemango habenero wings, a reeces parfait & the cashier even knew what a 'suicide slushi' was & accommodated me.
