I was on my way home. And I was looking for a Mom and Pop's restaurant for breakfast. Out of the corner of my eyes spotted... Waffle House. And couple turns around and I got there. I haven't been to Waffle House in years. And I'm sorry I haven't. What awell-oiled machine these three people were. They pitched in where they needed. I enjoyed my breakfast immensely. The cookscrambled the eggs perfect. The Grits were to die for, they were so buttery. And the toast was buttered to the edge. Plusdelicious coffee refilled. My check was only $7.50. I was so impressed by my waitress that I gave her a $10 tip. And I handedher a $5 bill to give to the cook. Because I was impressed on watching him perform his artistry. I hope the regional managersees this. Because that crew deserves a pat on the back. And a little padding of their wallet too! I will definitely go backthere. I only get through there once a year. Normally have really good experiences here, but was below normal on our last visit. Server seemed to be new (no issue with... that), but did miss bringing our drinks and turning in one of our meals to be cooked. Omelette was overcooked and waffle wasway short on batter compared to usual. Read more
This was BY FAR the best waffle house experience I've ever had, my server was Crystal, I don't remember my cooks name but he... deserves respect too. I was there as part of a party of 3, my order was VERY complex and they nailed it perfectly. Our drinkswere never dry, the customer service and atmosphere was absolutely outstanding. Then to add even more praise, I forgot my keysin the booth and as I was going back in to get them, Crystal went out of her way to bring them to me at the door, as I saidbefore ABSOLUTELY THE BEST WAFFLE HOUSE I'VE BEEN TOO!!!!! It has been years since I have eaten at Waffle house. This use to be my late night go to spot after the clubs, when I lived in... Atlanta GA. The menu has changed a bit but the food still hits the spot. I chose the Cheesesteak Mealt Hashbrown bowl. Icustomized by hashbrowns a little bit. Very nice and friendly service. Great tasting food at good prices. Jennifer took really good care of us and our kids. It was a... great exceptional experience. She even made us some french vanilla coffee creamer! The staff is very friendly and they have funwhile they work. It was nice to see staff having fun and working together as a team while they worked.
