Everything was wonderful except the follow through when I told staff I was gluten sensitive. I had to ask 2 staff members to... clarify if the au jus for my dish hade flour in it. It's a big place, so there is seating everywhere. The scenery inside makes you feel like we are in a huge cabin out in the woods... somewhere. The staff there are incredible with their blindfold water tricks they do. They are also very knowledgeable of themenu. They have bottomless onion rings. You get a lot of food. You will be taking food home. I was not too thrilled with theirMac and cheese. It lacked flavor and cheese. To be honest, they need a better Mac and cheese recipe. Food overall was good. Complaint is from service. No refills ever on drinks, had to ask twice at least for everything. Waiter... rarely would come by and when he did I don’t think he really was listening or perhaps he just didn’t care about the answer.Fun place to come once, but worth all the food choices up here not sure I’d be back. It was delicious! I appreciated the live music, the girl doing covers was really good. Our waitress went above and beyond for... us, very kind and even checked if there was mint for my virgin mojito since the waitress before her said there wasnt any. This place is everything I remember as a kid! Famous blindfolded water refills on your head, a toy from the saddlebag for the... kids, and onion rings and salsa as an appetizer. The top sirloin was delicious and full of flavor. Adults get a tan Ferraridrink with dinner. They even have cornhole in the back. Can’t wait to bring my family back! Read more

The meal was, as usual, superb. Prepared exactly as requested and seasoned to perfection. The ranch beans were as tasty as ever;... potatoes and garlic bread - phenonominal. . The one down side was the service. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but Michelle(our waitress) didn't seem to have time for us. When I made the reservation, I explained we were celebrating a birthday. I alsoreminded the hostess. There was no mention of the birthday, which was disappointing. When I received the bill ($190 and change)I put $225.00 cash in the payment wallet, then excused myself to use the facilities. Upon my return, I was told my change waswaiting. I opened it and saw $25.00, when there should have been over $29.00. This was also disappointing. Read more
This is a classic staple of the Pismo area. McLintocks is legendary and a place that I’ve been coming to since I was a child... (35 years or more). Make sure you are hungry before you go, they give you so much food!! Order the Turkey nuts, you’ve got totry them. Also, you can have your waiter do the legendary water pour. So much fun, especially for the kids. So many memorieshere and their steaks are pretty awesome, too!! Read more
