We came in for a quick snack and a bloody Mary. The place started to fill up really fast around lunchtime and because of the... shortage of staff we thought it might take a while to get things. We felt bad for the staff. However this place is well knownfor its local food and especially its location. Food is always consistent and tastes good. We saw that they had LOADED bloodyMary?s but did not want to burden the staff and just asked. They made us two. They were fantastic with all the trimmings andthe mix is made in house and was delicious. The Mary came with a pickle, olive, jalapeño popper, chicken strip, popcornshrimp, cheese curds, bacon cheeseburger and celery. It was amazingly good. They should advertise it more and sell it for ahigher price. Mary came with a beer chaser and you can see our bill. We felt like we had to pay more for the taste. Experienceand quality? we did. We have been patrons of this establishment for a long time. They recently changed the menu, there are no specials any more which... is disappointing. They have also changed a lot of wait staff. For the worse in my opinion, waited 10 minutes and finallywaitress came. I had to go to bar myself to get the drinks that sat waiting for her to pickup. Really disappointed in theservice. Went here with my kids after a day at the beach. Service was good, no long waits as described in other reviews. Drinks came... quickly (Bloody Mary was delicious and my kids like the fruity lemonades), and the wait for our food was no longer than anyother place. Our waitress was very accommodating of my picky eater, and my need for some time to think of what *I* wanted. I gotthe Caesar salad with crispy chicken. Food was very good and very good prices. Drinks are a little spend the for how big the glasses are. The waitresses were kind and... accommodating. We did have a lengthy wait for our order once it was taken. I will be going back again. Read more
Service was great , I had fish fry cod very small and fishy tasting ( first time I?ve ever had cod that didn?t taste good.) I... had 1 beer my wife had hamburger and water. I expected bill around $20 but it was $33 without tip ! Will not reyrurn there.This is the first time I?ve ever given an eating establishment a bad review! Read more
The website looked awesome, the experience was awful. 25 minutes to get water and a menu, 15 more to place a drink order and... when we asked about putting in our food order with the drink order, the waitress snapped at my husband and said she was too busyto do that. 15 more minutes to get our food order taken and 45 minutes until it was delivered. Food was decent, service washorrible and when i tried to explain this to the waitress, she said she couldn?t help it- we came at a busy time and she was toobusy and too hot.
