My family and I were looking for some Spanish food and came upon this restaurant. I have to start off with their prices are... definitely affordable. They have a big variety of Latin dishes. I enjoyed eating the yuca Pasteles they call it Puerto Ricantamales. I usually don?t eat yuca but this one was delicious. The Pasteles didn?t have no fat inside the meat which is always aplus, the seasoning was delicious. I always add extra salt to mine. I also have to add they make the best Maduros which is sweetplantains, I have ordered them from Palma restaurant in Ansonia and they never make it as good as this place, actually I am fromnyc and not even in nyc they make it this fresh I always get them burnt. If you do order from this place definitely order theempanadas the beef one with cheese was amazing, they made chicken ones as well they were both delicious. But I have to say whenit comes to empanadas these are the best I ever had because they were flaky, kinda felt like I was eating a croissant. The food was good but the restaurant needs clearer pricing on their menu options. There is no allergen information because the... server said "there was a language barrier so they couldn't be sure about ingredients." I would recommend visiting because thereis no other restaurant near by that serves Latino food that is this authentic and delicious. Read more
The owner is Victor is awesome and was very accommodating. My cousin and I visited and had some take out very clean, very nice... patio inside seating. It's nice and airy. Fantastic food at a place ran by amazing people! They make an effort to get to know every customer that walks in the door, and I... was really impressed when I overheard the owner, Victor, telling a customer that if you?re ever looking for something that isn?ton the menu, give them some notice and they?ll make it for you.
