First time here, seated as soon as we walked in. Received our drinks in a timely manner. Over all the place was nice. I ordered... a swirled Rita that was priced at $10.25, upon receiving the bill I was charged $12.25. When I asked what caused the differenceI was told because of the raspberry. That was no where on the menu, you can look at the pictures included. They only servetacos, enchiladas and Burritos so if your looking for anything other than that, this is not the place. I got the chika chikaboom boom and my wife got the fajita burrito. My dish was great, the sauce was very good but only 2 enchiladas... I'm a big boyso I helped my wife with her humongous fajita burrito which also tasted excellent. Their salsa for chips is very chunky butdecent flavor and the green sauce was delicious. Read more
The food that I ordered was really tasty. The restaurant has a quirky ambiance. It's located very conveniently in The Woodlands... just outside of Houston Texas. I had such a good experience I've been back twice since then in a matter of weeks. I highlyrecommend the fajitas. Read more
The food here has been great for the past 2+ decades that I've been going. Service can be slow at times, and the pandemic has... only made that worse in recent years, but the staff is still usually pleasant. Expect to spend about an hour or more here ifgoing for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The prices are fair; usually around $60 for four meals with an appetizer and a couple ofteas. Let me start with I love Chuy?s not ROACHES ! Being from NM it?s a must for Hatch peppers. I frequent the one in Austin when... there and the one closest to me in Pasadena, it?s the best one. I have been to this location several times as well, whenattending a concerts at the woodlands. Sad to say I will not return to this one. We were seated at a booth with drinks and chipsand dips when a HUGE Roach ( every bit of 3 inches long ) crawled up on our table, wing stretched out like he owned the place,he was a resident, not moving fast at all! Girls will be girls, We freaked , yelled and jumped out the booth. It continuedcrawling up the wall behind a picture right at our table! Once we found someone to tell them what the commotion was about , aemployee climbed in our booth and tried squish him behind the picture. He was unable to. They expected us to remain seatedthere. We had to let them know we were moving, totally grossed out we moved clear to the other side of the room to a table inthe middle , not next to any walls, to wait for our food that we had already ordered . WE had to moved all our drinks and chipsand dips , plates ect. to new table, No help from any staff. As we were eating, on ANOTHER wall next to some other customersANOTHER BIG Roach made its way down the wall from behind another picture, to under that booth. The people at that booth movedtoo after telling the staff about it. We were never saw a manager, No apology, No nothing. They sat more customers in thecorner right under the picture with the HUGE roach behind it! Now on edge, not really wanting to eat the rest of our meals, weasked for the check, thinking we would see a manager now?. NOPE! Looking around at place the floors were dirty , under thebooths did not look like they had been mopped in a long time. Walls along booth tables were dirty as well. I LOVE the atmosphere in this place. It?s so cute and fun. Didn?t have to wait long at all to be seated on a busy Friday night.... Different fun seating options. This review is solely based on customer service and the 2 drinks I ordered. I didn?t order any food. I did order a top shelf... grand ma margarita and a skinny margarita with don julio. This was my first time at chuy?s I don?t think I will be returningjust because the bar is literally non existent. If you like pre made frozen margaritas then this is the spot. I personally don?tlike the frozen stuff. I did order an old fashion, and y?all know I LOVE an old fashion but it didn?t make the cut. I must saythe bartender Jay and his colleague went the extra mile to make it happen. I order from here 2-3 times a month and I understand it?s busy sometimes. They did jack up the prices a little bit and I didn?t... care. However make sure you keep the same services you had. The last 3 orders i got came all messed up. I got upset and calledthem back and they kept saying you got what you ordered. When I talked to the manager he said there is nothing I can do for you.I ordered a beef fajita family and a chicken fajitas for 2 with 2 rice orders. I don?t combo fajitas and chicken fajitas. Keepin mind one bag of chips and one bag of flour tortilla. If I didn?t have people in my house i would have taken the food back andasked for refund. If the manager said we are sorry it?s a busy day it?s understandable but telling me there is nothing I can dofor you is what made me write this review.
