I really was a fan of Pei Wei pre Covid times but it?s different now. I came in ordered a sesame chicken and it was bland. The... sauce was watery, the chicken was super crispy with out tender meat inside. The broccoli tasted freezer burned. When I lookeddown at my dish it reminded me of the frozen dinner asian entrees found in the grocery store that you microwave. Only differenceis those cost $3-4. This was $11.36. I was not impressed. We came at 4pm on a Sunday and it says they closed at 8pm. They told us they were closing because of low staff as there was a... couple eating in there and there was 5 employees in the kitchen and by the tables just talking. Then when we were ordering our?take out? since we couldn?t eat there. I asked the lady (she was older and had greyish hair) if I could scan for points likeright after she gave me my total price and she says ?no its too late? and so i was unable to scan my points. I usually love Pei Wei, but this time the food was not good. What I really wanted was the orange peel chicken, but that was no... longer on the menu and had been replaced by a dish called orange chicken with no veggies in it. I order the pad thai instead,but it was very soggy. The noodles and the chicken were just very boiled tasting, not the usual taste of the stir fried food. Iate some of the noodles, but the chicken tasted off. I ended up throwing most of it away. I don't get to eat here often sinceit is not near where I live, so I was excited to get to grab lunch, but ended up with really disappointing food. Read more
Environment was clean, Staff was friendly and checked in on us as we dined in. I ordered the Pei Wei Original Shrimp (asked for... it to be as mild as possible because it's usually somewhat spicy, and they did, ????????!) It was freshly cooked with crispyshrimp, garlic, chili paste, carrots, snap peas and scallions. Tossed in a sweet and spicy chili vinegar sauce. Read more
We used to love coming here, but lately the quality has declined so much at this point I don't think we'll ever be back. Ordered... dinner to go shortly before closing time (so no time to go back to get it fixed), only to get home and have RAW chicken and VERYrare steak. Contacted customer service and never heard a response. So disappointed. I understand staffing issues right now butundercooked meat is unacceptable and the final straw for us unfortunately. Read more
I went in to order something to eat tonight and haven?t been in a Pei Wei ever and had no idea what I was doing. After walking... around for a second like a lost dork Ariel came over and asked me how she could help me. I asked where to order and she walkedme over and took the order. Apparently I came out from under a rock tonight and couldn?t figure out how to run my card. She wassoo sweet and nice. Amazing customer service.
