I've eaten here before and service was lack luster even with all the employees. The last time I ate here our waitress was doing... a terrible job at keeping drinks filled, taking our order and when she finally did she still messed up the orders. I've always had very friendly, attentive service. The chile lime talapia (comes with shrimp, black beans , and rice) was tasty... as always. They brought out a spicy mango salsa topping that was a nice compliment. Plus, the jumbo frozen peach margarita wasstrong just like I like it. Read more

Update 6/26/2022 Stop delivering with any 3rd party. My food was cold and disgusting. Do not recommend delivery. I may not even... go back to the restaurant. Not El Nopals fault, but the delivery ruined it for me. /update 6/26/2022 My favorite place to eatin Shepherdsville. Good food, cold beer, great and fast service. Their margaritas are on point! Our first time here while traveling through the on 7/17/2022. Food and service were good.
PROS: Although busy our group of 6 was seated within 10 minutes. Our drinks were brought to table in a timely manner and... refills were plentiful. Our group ordered from the children's menu, gigantica burrito, steak & chicken fajitas, enchiladaSupreme, etc, along with a chicken nacho platter to share as an appetizer. Our waitress did an excellent job and checked backseveral times. The only small negatives that I observed were there were very few chips on the nacho platter (but plenty ofshredded chicken) and we were charged an extra $2.50 because I asked for a bit more lettuce and pico for my fajita even thoughour table spent around $120.00. First time eating here and I gotta say, I'm impressed. After hearing about this place for years, I finally had a chance to eat... here and I was torn about what to order. Everything looked great and I settled for the Pork burrito. Every bite was exquisiteand I wish I had room for (and the money) more dishes. Definitly a place to come back to, even if it's popularity does mean thatthey are pretty packed most days ???????? Read more
