1st time visiting this location. Nothing personal against Hillary my waitress tonight; you should be fired for the way you... handled the situation that arose from me as a customer asking for clarity on my bill. I order unique combinations off of thewaffle house menu all over the country; & am use to paying more to eat on a special diet. If I had just paid the bill the wayHillary handed it to me; it would have been unjust to me. For I knew the bill had to be wrong. After John the manager/ cheif gotinvolved my bill was rectified. True being honest at times can cost more though there are times it actually cost less. As abusiness owner myself, I must explain to whom ever is in management of this location again. Hillary got loud with me & made ascene to the volume of other young not knowing how to act customers getting involved making me fearful for my life. If thiswhere my location I would most definitely want to know. In the end honestly one of the best Omelette's I've had in a longtime. Thank you John Read more
Waffle houses are the bomb. Being from CA, you don?t see these so when I?m in the south I try to hit this up as much as I can.... The service was great; always so friendly. The prices you can?t beat. I love the simplified menu and the seats so close to thegriddle that the server is always right near you. But seriously, feeding a family of 4 for less than $30 before taxes is prettyincredible. I wish we had these in CA but I?m guessing with our taxes/regulations we couldn?t get these prices. Read more
My first time at a waffle house. Being 4 o?clock in the morning I thought it would be slow, but several tables of people walked... in about the same time I did. What time do the bars close around here?! The waitress and cook did not seem frazzled by this atall. Sitting at the counter I got a really good view of how John, the cook, handles at all. He is so quick and no step iswasted. I didn?t even look at what I brought with me because he was so interesting to observe. I thought any minute he was goingto be throwing his spatula in the air and catching it behind his back as he spun around! I ordered smothered & coveredhashbrowns and it was so good I came back the next day for more! This afternoon it was not busy and there were two cooks whowere nowhere NEAR as interesting to watch. I ordered hashbrowns, scattered this time, and blueberry waffle. So good! I?ll betthe hashbrown bowls are Fantabulous! The waffle didn?t need butter or syrup on it as far as I was concerned. The blueberriessweetened it up just right. The waitress, Brittany, was so friendly and inviting it was as though we had been friends foryears. I had originally stopped in the middle of the night on my way through Shepherdsville in order to go to Long JohnSilver?s today. But after last night?s hashbrowns, I could not leave without coming to THIS Waffle House - one more time. Oh,and to the single man who rides a bike, and was sitting at the table near me at four in the morning and liked my shirt with thehorse on it - feel free to contact me if you want to chat. ????
