We had a birthday brunch for 13 in the Millie And Bea’s Room this weekend. It was SPECTACULAR! The planning was easy and the... event was flawless. Special thanks to Honor (amazing server) and Jen (passionate owner). Our family and friends enjoyed thehot donuts, fresh baked pastries, yummy mushroom frittata, fluffy omelets, BIG pancake, and fresh chopped salad. We loved our brunch here. The spicy bloody Mary's are really good. We had the Florentine Benedict (added bacon), Perfectly... cooked burger, and huevos rancheros, everything was excellent. We dined on the lovely shaded patio. Our server, Michael wasvery attentive, friendly, and had great recommendations. We will look forward to returning again soon. Read more
What a bummer. We arrived with a reservation and the host stand was in chaos. Service was super slow all night. It took a long... time to get our drinks and our check. I gave up on the coffee I ordered, because it was clearly forgotten and I was so tired. Mylamb kofta was burnt and dried out, yet not at all warm. The flavors were good if it hadn’t been over cooked. My drink wasgreat, though. Agree with reviewers about the noise level. It’s uncomfortably loud, and not great for date night. It’s alsosuper cold, and you can feel the breeze from the AC vents. We ordered the poutine which was great! I also had the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. I wished it was a little more flavorful... and it was so big it was hard to take a bite. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I also enjoyed theatmosphere due to the buildings history. I will definitely give it another try. Read more
This is probably the worst restaurant I've been to in years. The food is way too expensive for the quality. We got the grilled... chicken wings and French onion soup for starters. Both had zero flavor. Seriously lacking salt or any kind of seasoning. Thewings were cooked ok but should have definitely been cooked a bit more as the skin was still a bit on the rubbery side. Wouldhave benefited from some char. I got the hake which was SO SALTY. I feel like they took all the salt they should have used onthe other two dishes, plus some, and added it to the hake. It was basically inedible. We also got the crispy brussel spouts. Isaw pictures of them and they looked great but what we got was super undercooked. The brussel sprouts were hard as a rock andthe sauce looked like it was sitting out for at least 30 minutes before we got it. We ended up taking home most of the food asleftovers out of habit. We should have just left it because we're definitely not going back to eating it. Service was ok.Overall I would not go back and definitely recommend that they take a look at the quality of food coming out of their kitchen. Read more
What an amazing place. Cozy, warm environment for the winter, but I can tell they must also put on a good show in the summer.... Service, food, and drinks were all amazing. This place truly went above and beyond my expectations. And definitely familyfriendly, and upscale-casual. I could've worn a dress, or a sweatshirt and jeans and felt comfortable either way! Chose the cut of the day, I would never go here again. Cut of the day references 14oz 1/4 inch rib eye($42): expectation 1) a... good cut (not a great cut, basically same cut at an outback) 2) the cut should be cooked in a way where it actually taste like agood steak.
