Great food really enjoyed the patio
We arrived on an event night. It is a part of the 803 brewery, which wasn't obvious from the signage. The food was good... quality and the portions were huge. They were severely understaffed for an event which led to 35 minute ticket times on thefood. The bartender was apologetic and we will try them again. If the service is better I would give them 4 stars. UPDATE: Wehave visited again on a Saturday and had no issues with service. The food was great. Read more
I can't fathom how bad this is. It was so bad the first time I thought it must have been a bad day. I waited 4 months and came... back for another try. It is truly an embarrassment to food establishments. I got a Nashville hot chicken sandwich that wasseriously a blended chicken patty of Tyson chicken from Sam's. Then it was overcooked and hard as a rock. Then it was dipped ina horrendous sauce that is in no way related to Nashville hot. I seriously feel like it was a meal I was served in the cafeteriain elementary school. Maybe the beers are good but the food is seriously worse than any fast food restaurant around. It truly isthe worst food I think I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. How is this place even open? How?!?!?!? Read more
Ordered Nashville hot chicken sandwich and side of fries ($10 + $2.50) Nashville sandwich flavor was spot on and pickles were... delicious and crispy. Did not have the slaw on it as stated on the menu. I ordered it fried and was expecting like a friedchicken breast but it was more like a griddled chicken-meal patty (think giant chicken nugget). I ordered fried specifically forthe crunchy bits but it did not have that. I still liked the sandwich but for having spot on flavor, it?d be a 10/10 if theyused real fried chicken. Also, $2.50 for a side of fries and it was literally like 10-12 fries. They were good but should?vebeen like +$1.00. Overall, with the right expectations it?s 5/5 minus the fry portions. You know they use frozen patties andfries. The sauces make up for it but just know what to expect. This isn?t southern fried chicken. Read more
Great food and beer, live music when we went on Sunday afternoon.
Family and pet friendly environment! They had such wonderful appetizers, and delicious food to boot. This place is very giving... as well, in that they're giving out free water to residents who have been going without. I hope to return someday. ?????????????????? The wife and I don't usually travel north from Melissa to find food. Most of the time it's a trip into McKinney or Allen to find... a good place to eat. My wife suggested we go try Downtown Grilled Cheese Company sandwiches in Sherman and holy cow did sheknock it out of the park with this suggestion!! In the picture is my Bacon Grilled Cheese. Just outside of frame is my wife'sBrisket Grilled Cheese, which she did not want to take a break from eating so I could get a pic. What she didn't mention, thatturned out to be a fantastic surprise, was that this restaurant is now run out of 903 Brewery asked Saturday was live music day!All in all a fabulous trip to Sherman, where amazing food was had at a killer brewery while listening to live music! The atmosphere is pretty cool. My grilled cheese and ham sandwich was very good. However, the cole slaw was not so good?. My 14... yr old daughter asked for a cheeseburger and fries. The lady taking our order asked her if she wanted a junior burger and mydaughter said yes. After waiting a long time for food ( I do understand the wait) my daughter received a junior burger (nocheese and no fries). I paid $7 for the burger alone. On the board it showed a junior burger basket with fries for $6. We werea bit disappointed. Read more
