Yes I came here just to be a tourist. I had already eaten just before getting here. I just wanted to sit at the table from the... movie once upon a time in Hollywood. Probably not the most professional thing to do but I'm quite sure it happens here a lot andI'm also pretty sure they've benefited from this being a set location for the movie. I have been here a bunch of times, it’s right down the street from me. I always order the lobster enchilada and table side... guac. Food does take a while to come out. Normally I am so high and drunk from so many margaritas that it doesn’tmatter. It’s not the best Mexican in town, Mexicali is better but this is where Leo and Brad went…. So I go here now. Read more

I've been coming to Casa Vega for over 35 years and have always loved this place. The service was good, the food was good, and... the drinks were good. The vibe is dark and candlelit and usually very busy with a lot of fun people. However last night wastotally different. I haven't been here since the pandemic but we were excited to come back. I came here with my friend and weordered a chicken quesadilla and a burrito, we each had one drink. My friend had a strawberry margarita and I had a beer. Ourbill came out to $99.86 insane!! We thought this was a mistake. I couldn't believe my eyes when I got the bill. The food wasblah. You can totally tell they have cut back on the quality of food they serve now. The food used to be so good and now it'sjust blah. Also the service has gone down as well. We had to ask for salsa six times, and keep trying to flag down someone torefill our water. I have been coming here for so many years and have always enjoyed this place. It's hard to say this but Iprobably won't come back. The food quality is terrible, it's completely overpriced, and the service has gone downhill. I'm trulydisappointed! Read more
