Experience was okay. Decor and French music was nice. The escargot was too salty and the steak was too salty. Couldn’t enjoy... my food. Service was definitely subpar. I was one of 3 people dining at 3pm on a Friday.. at one point j was the ONLY person inthe restaurant……lets just leave it at that. Will not be returning not worth the price, quality or service. Delicious food and cocktails! Try the duck, it's wonderful, as was were our deserts. Jacob fussed over us and made us feel truly... welcome. Formal service and our water was kept unobtrusively filled. Read more

Walking in, you're greeted by a humorous painting of Chef Ludo Lefebvre. He was named one of the “World’s 50 Greatest... Chefs” and is the winner of many culinary awards, so our expectations were high. The food (and service) was impeccable andcreative. A simple endive salad (combined walnut, avocado, anchovy and ubriaco) was a delight. Nothing disappointed; the steaktartare, mussels, roast chicken and the garlic fries were all delicious. The cocktails and desserts were lovely accents to afabulous meal. But one thing, the price for the flute and butter was really unnecessary. We will be back! Read more

I daydream about that baguette and butter. wow. The tomato salad was also incredible. ate the whole menu, loved it all- but... really dream about the bread!! Also, ordering an omelette is a requirement because it somehow doesn't even feel like eggs.Really, truly, the bread and butter is the most important. Read more

The Salmon Tartine was incredible. Perfectly scrambled egg, perfectly toasted bread. French onion was simply a great French... onion, not worth $25 for soup. Came for the $25 Big Mec but dang $37 now for a burger, didn't even order what we drove an hourto eat. Cashing in on popularity, expect a shut down and rebranding soon. Read more

Hands-down the best Croque Madame or Monsieur in all of Los Angeles. I have been to pretty much all of the French bistros in... town and constantly come back to this one. I even chose this place as my birthday breakfast back in April. I usually go to thelocation closer to me down in Los Angeles for dinner but I always come up here to the valley for breakfast because parking iseasier and I like the design on the inside of this restaurant more than the Southern location. Same owners of John andVinny’s plus chef Ludo both locations are a constant hit for me and it’s easily my favorite Croque Madame (a better versionof the Monsieur) in all of LA or the valley. Service has always been quick and polite for me and the food quality has never fellshort of great. I’ve tried all the seafood dinner options (Trout, Bass, Mussels) and really enjoy each of those. I know I lovea place when I crave different dishes from their brunch and also dinner menu. It’s honestly in my top three favorite Frenchrestaurants in LA and I highly recommend to anyone for any occasion. I have been here many times and I plan to be back manytimes in the future. Read more

Had high expectations based on other reviews, but walked away feeling like it was just ok for the price point. Bread and butter... were good (but not worth $10). French onion soup again, good but not amazing. The beet salad was very good and flavorful. Thepesto pasta was a little overcooked and not too flavorful. The Mec burger was delicious and juicy with a ton of flavor. Otherthan that, the staff was very polite but service was very slow (we dined at 6:30pm on a Monday. Read more
