Drove up and some unprofessional black girl answered the speaker. The correct way to approach a paying customer is to say "hello... how are you" or "thanks for choosing Popeyes". I guess they weren't trained to speak to customers. This is why I prefer theJacksonville location. They are much more friendlier. Oh and their apple pies are $1.00. The flavor and doneness of the chicken was perfection. The pieces however, had parts of the back and neck attached making them... appear larger. But it was just waste. It was surprisingly strange. The coleslaw had zero flavor. I don't know why. Idoctored it up myself with vinegar, sugar and ranch dressing. This was the first time I tried the Cajun gravy on the mashedpotatoes and I did not car for it. I had to go right back because I asked for spicy chicken and got plain. Made me wait 40 minutes on drive thru for an order I placed online to tell me that I need to come inside to get it. Ummm no I... selected drive thru on my online order and definitely not getting out after wasting 40 minutes of time and gas. Young man atwindow was so rude when I said no I'm not coming inside. He closed the window in my face. Made me wait an additional 2 minutesto come back with my food with no napkins no drink no sauce and no straw. Then closed the window again. I waited for him toreturn with my drink and I asked for sauce he came back with 10 sauces for two pieces of chicken with still no napkins no strawand just rude service. I hate coming here. But it was already paid for so I had no choice but to wait that long from juststraight disrespect and no receipt given! Read more
I have gone to several different Popeyes in Central Arkansas. This location is the worst of the worst. 4 cars in front of me,... when I pulled up to the order speaker I sat there 5 mins before anyone spoke to me. I was in the drive thru lane for 35 minutestotal. During this time half a dozen cars just left. I go to the Popeyes near where I work and it usually an 8 to 10 min wait.My order was wrong and I had to remind them that the combo comes with a drink. I don't know if this is a local franchise orcorporate owned? I hope the owners read this review and do something about this location. Read more
I stopped going to this location because of the terrible staff that was hired so it had been months since my last visit. Was... craving chicken and since it's close I stopped in. Terrible mistake. Food was very hot BUT so greasy it was puddled up in thebottom of the box. I ate what i could and was going to store the last piece of chicken. There was a HUGE dead fly under it inthe box in the grease. So grossed out. Me and my husband are never eating there again!! I want to give 0 stars. Read more
Feathers Again! Done with this Popeye's! I hesitantly tried it again today because it's what family members wanted. It's... worse every time you go. They're usually terribly slow and all employees act like it's their first day working there. Thecontainers for the sides are now half the size that they were recently and they still only fill the new containers less thanhalf the way, so you get about 1/4 of a portion. Today I had about four small spork fulls of Red Beans and Rice, which as itturns out was fine because they were awful. It was almost room temperature, the rice was undercooked (hard) and the soupy beanswere bland. Today, at least one piece of the five piece chicken order was not spicy as ordered. This is a regular occurrenceat this Popeye's, they rarely get an order correct, they just don't care. I've called in the past and told the person in chargethat fried chicken would probably be better without the feathers, but guess what? (see pic). There actually must be people outthere that like fried chicken feathers, because they keep serving them. Maybe they should have a new side offering of justchicken feathers or another chicken option (with or without feathers). Trying to think of at least one nice thing to say aboutthis place, but it's difficult. Oh, they did have butter for the hard biscuits today, which they've been out of recently, and Ijust fed the rest of today's chicken order to my dogs, they liked it. Won't be back! Read more
This Popeyes location has been my preferred location for most of my life. Service is quick, professional, and polite. The food... here has always been superb, better than other locations I've tried. However, this location has lost 1 star because I recentlyhad a less than satisfactory experience. I hate to complain, but this needs to be told. The service was not a problem, at all,it was fine as usual. But the food was very lacking in quality. They were very busy and having troubles with communication andproductivity. My husband ordered a 2 piece mixed fried chicken, which had an overabundance of fat throughout, which made itsomewhat soggy. I ordered a 3 piece mild tender and the tenders were very small, dry, and bland. They tasted as if they had beenunder a heat lamp for quite a while. The food took a long time to get done, but this is understandable considering they werebusy. I have never had this happen at this location, but my husband and I were disappointed. I will be back, of course. I hopethat next time we will not have this happen. I would still recommend this location to anyone, but the owners and management needto know this happened. The employees do work hard and they were probably just busy and overwhelmed, so I doubt this will happenagain. Read more
Chicken was definitely fried, & I definitely ate it.As far as I recall,it didn't make me vomit, didn't spray diarrhea all over... my lower half, so I'll be back! Read more
