I love their baked goods here! The scones are probably my favorite. But everything I've had from here is quite delicious. The... only thing I would recommend is that they advertise their specials that are going on at that current moment better. I just sohappened to go one time where I bought a half dozen of scones which came along with a free loaf of bread, and the next two timesI went there, this deal was still going on. But then that special ended sadly, but I don't recall seeing the specials advertisedtoo well. Unless maybe I wasn't looking well enough. But even though they are a bit pricey, the stuff is definitely worthbuying. It all tastes very fresh, especially the bread when you compare it to store bought stuff. Same thing with the scones. On September 17th 2021 my girlfriend and I went into Cobs bakery in Sherwood Park to get some sweets for dessert. We ordered a... number of items , but the main thing I requested was to have extra cream cheese icing on the cinnamon bun. The girl seemed togive me some difficulty with my request, which was weird because it is something I get each and every time I order a cinnamonbun from them, including from other locations. I even offered to pay for extra cream cheese icing. Finally the girl said shewould put extra on for me, so I continued with my purchase. When I got home I was extremely disappointed to see that she was asstingy as can be with the icing, ruining our dessert. If you are ever shopping at the Cobs in Sherwood Park I would suggestanother location. Especially if you get an Asian lady behind the counter because she will not respect your requests. After having a somewhat disappointing experience at the Cobs on Baseline I was so happy to find the one just off of Wye Road... (the only problem I had was with the sourdough loaf?not the staff as they were great). The staff are super friendly and veryhelpful. Their sourdough is amazing as well as everything else they offer. Wow! Love Cobs bread, very fresh and made same day. Took home their hot cross buns, chocolate croissants and loaf of bread white... bread. The bread was delicious and soft with a nice crust, the hot cross buns were sweet and fresh and the croissants werechocolatey and had the dollop of chocolate in the middle, which is my favourite part! Yum)) Only 3 people allowed in the storeat one time and sanitizer is available for your hands. I feel good supporting a local business that makes such wonderful anddelicious bread and treats. Always has many loaves in the store but perhaps go in the morning before noon to be sure that youcan buy your favourites. Read more
This my to go place for bread!!! Love going early on Saturdays to get fresh bread for breakfast!!!! My kids love the cinnamon... buns and the chocolate croissant, we alway but our sandwich bread for the kids to have breakfast and our favourite is thesourdough loaf!!! Love to get the French baguette and toast it and eat it with prosciutto and cheese!!!! Read more
Excellent products. Good selection. Staff are super! Prices good. My husband arrived there just at closing and they felt sorry... they were sold out of hamburger and hot dog buns, but gave him a croissant! We go there every few days for all our bread needs.Fresh. Read more
Great service and staff is always friendly. Awesome selection of breads and baked goods. Definitely recommend the pull apart... bread and cinnamon buns. Pizza crusts are great, and the kids always enjoy creating their own pizzas. Good value for the money,and everything is always fresh. Have not bought bread in a grocery store for years. Read more
