Normally good service except for today. All I ordered was 1 poutine and it was a 12 minute wait... the person in line BEHIND me... received there order before me and then the person BEHIND them ordered 3 poutines and received them before me. So waiting inline took up half of my break and the 2 people behind me received there food before me. I don't think this is acceptable as mallemployees come for a break and are on limited time. I'm not sure why the 2 people behind me would recieve there order before me. Read more
If I could Give them zero I would ate there yesterday with my wife now we both throwing up, we believe it to be food poisoning.... Ate here yesterday around 4 me and my wife had a regular poutine we ste them we felt fine fine until early this morning then weboth have been throwing up literally all day I ate my first little bit of food that stayed down around 5 pm. Food was exactly what you would expect from a New York Fries, IMO they have one of the best classic poutines. Customer service... was ok and friendly enough, nothing spectacular (I'm honestly not expecting much other then getting my food in a mall foodcourt). This restaurant is located in the Sherwood Park Mall so they have lots of sitting in the food court. They are locatedon Skip the Dish which is nice as well if you don't want to go to the mall. I was here the other day and witnessed a really horrible experience....not for the customer, but for the owner who works... tirelessly everyday at this store, always with a smile on her face, always going above and beyond for her customers with fastand quick and efficient service. I have witnessed on multiple occassions as I am a regular customer of her being able to notjust work with a hustle that not many people can match but also in her quick thinking and unaltering level of calm that shecreates for everyone. What I witnessed was a female customer completely go off the rockers because they had just ran out oflarge size containers for fries and she was being mean to the original lady helping her and then the owner came over and tookover with her warm and gentle smile to provide her with a couple of quick solutions and this customer berated her, called herstupid and was beyond the definition of rude and no one should be treated that way. Even so, the owner quickly assisted her(even though nothing would have made this customer happy, I would have told them to leave and threw fries at them as they werewalking away) and even as this customer said these horrible things to her, she smiled and very calmly said, "I am very sorrythat you feel that way" and then she discounted her order on top of it! Even with the customer being that rude, she still tookcare of this customer in less than 2 minutes (not in over 10 minutes). Read more
Never been to a New York fries before. Fries were hard and tasted burnt. Husband got a hot dog and didn?t realize you had to ask... for condiments. None were offered. Staff seemed frazzled. Won?t rush back. Read more
Came to the new location on Friday and it was great. Got a butter chicken poutine and a bacon double cheese poutine with a... hotdog, it was on of the best poutines I had. I got my poutine and hot really fast at a busy point, I got my food in about a 1 aminute, safe to say that is pretty fast to get the food. The food was really good! The fries where cooked to perfection and thehotdog was nice and hot and juicy. The place was nice and clean, very organized and well put together. The people working therewhere very nice, friendly and overall up and beyond with there work. Very great work. Would very much recommend, would comeagain. Read more
Came to this location a few days ago and safe to say it did NOT disappoint. Staff were super friendly, the restaurant was clean... & organised and the fries I had were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Will definitely be going back to try more oftheir menu ! Read more
