What a gem. My husband loves this place, he said he used to come here a lot when he worked in town, and I see why. The food... price is reasonable and the portions are nice. After touring a beautiful garden, the ladies church group were ready for something delicious! This little restaurant, sitting... right off the road in this sleepy little town, welcomed us. We were a group of 26 and they made us a place to gather together.I ordered a grilled cheese. The breads was the best and a bountiful plate of fries as well. The others got turkey wraps, cheeseburger and BLT to name a few. The restaurant was clean and the best waitresses one could ask for. Usually the service and food is good. Today the service was slow. We had to ask for the coffee we ordered and the soup we had to... ask for again. The soup was cold and didn't come out until our meal was ready. We waited for a long time to get our food. Found this gem! Food was great; portions very generous; nice atmosphere. Hubs had this burger (cannot remember the name); I had... the chicken wrap - so good - even later when I finished it ( no pic), and we took home chicken tenders for the kid - he saidthey were great! Read more
Driving the backs roads in Wisconsin and came upon this gem for lunch. Busy local crowd. I guess they are used to feeding... hungry farmers as the portions were giant. Food was hot, delicious and plentiful. Our server Tina was lighting fast and ourcoffee was never empty. She was a delight, and very efficient. Great find! We stopped in and found the staff was friendly and very helpful. Gypsy had a perch lunch and I had a baccon cheese... burger with fries. Gypsy loved the perch lunch. The cheese burger was delicious and the fries were crispy. We had ice cream fordesert and it was very good. We recommend stopping by when you are in the area. Read more
