Ive owed a home on LBI for 20 years and never went here. A friend suggested trying it, what a mistake. They do take out only... which is fine but the food wasn't good at all: I literally threw away my chicken lettuce wraps & my tuna appetizer/ my mom ateher chicken Lomein but my son didn't eat his sushi either, he did eat his pork dumplings. MENU had a large variety of sushi. Prices are very high. FOOD was hit and miss. Portions are small and prices are high General... Tso’s chicken was not that good a little dry and light on the sauce. **RECCOMENDED DISH Pineapple fried rice was AMAZING oneof the best I have had.** Chicken lettuce wrap appetizer - not very good and unbelievably small for $13. Lucky if you get 2lettuce wraps Did not try sushi. 2 visits so far one good one bad. Would give another try and will update review. Read more
I like sushi. I've tried sushi (including Tokyo). This Place: Pretty Damn Good! It was fresh, temperature perfect, excellent... presentation. I was very surprised by the quality of sushi considering the fact that it is on LBI, where some people will be sohappy to get a reservation, they'd eat cardboard without complaint. I have eaten sushi from all corners of the United States and by far this was the best sushi and Asian cuisine I have ever had!... The tuna in the Naruto Roll was phenomenal and overall the service was quick and the staff is friendly! 10/10 Read more
Excellent variety & choices. One of the best sushi menus I've seen. Rated 3 stars because the sushi rice was too damp/wet so... nori for a salmon skin hand roll wasn't crisp. Other roles didn't always hold together because of the moisture content of therice. I don't know if this is consistent or just today or because of the humidity at the shore. Read more
