I seriously wish this was my neighborhood bar. Except I don't live in Shoreline, nor do I want to. But this place! Food was so... good. The scotch egg and wings (pictures) my husband vouches for. They have a nice selection of beers on tap, bottles of ShinerBoch (always a win for us), and the nicest employees. The server was friendly and attentive, the cook was running food andstopped to talk, and the owner was around chatting. The place was bigger than expected with a full bar, tables and high tops.Parking in the lot behind. We will make the drive again as I want to try more items on that menu! Read more
Local bar in shoreline with good choices for local beer, lots of liquor drinks to choose from, pretty good food, friendly staff... and music bands a couple times a month. Pretty chill vibe, they have about 5 or 6 TV's for your sport watching. I've had a goodtime the few times I've gone. Only thing is, they are only open from Thursday to Sunday due to staffing shortages. Read more
Excellent atmosphere, lovely bartenders/servers and owner, and their chef is something special. I always leave here relaxed,... happy, and full. My friend and I visit frequently, but especially if we?ve had a rough week. It is our go-to, without-a-doubtwill -never-disappoint place. This place was deceptively good. Catfish... Bangin'. My wife says this is the best catfish she's had in Seattle, and her grandma... is from New Orleans. The fry was light and crisp, the catfish was flaky and tender. Tarter sauce was on point. I had the wings,and the cook on those was perfect. Crisp, fresh, and moist. The buffalo sauce on the wings could have been a touch more tangy,but I'm honestly nitpicking at this point. Prices on the drinks were very reasonable, and a bit better than other barsaround. Went there three times, had a great experience twice and not so much the third time. The drinks are good and food selection is... small but really well executed. The Chef is friendly and genuinely cares about the food. The big difference in our experiencewas the bartender/wait staff. Twice we had a woman bartender, who was amazing. The time it wasn't we had a male bartender whodid not speak to us really, borderline rude when he did, and was looking elsewhere when we ordered from him. When I asked for ataste of a new beer he seemed very put out. We normally spend a few hours and cash there; this one individuals' interactionswith us and other guests was poor enough that we cut short our visit. This place will be in our rotation but if we see thisguy, fortunately there are many others bars in the area for us to exercise our options. If changes are made I will go with a 5star rating. Our favorite local place to drink a beer and indulge in the most delicious food. I?ll say it again; the food is DELICIOUS. My... husband and I have such a good time every visit and enjoy the experience from beginning to end. We always end up in a goodconversation with the staff or simply between ourselves in the comfy setting. Highly recommend. The Ruben is my personalfavorite and my husband thinks that they serve the best wings he?s ever eaten in his life. Read more
We were at Easy Monkey this past weekend for a wedding reception in their event space downstairs. Sean from Easy Monkey made... sure we were taken care of from start to finish and the owner also popped in to make sure we were happy. We comfortably seated70 guests at the tables/chairs Easy Monkey provided and we still had room for a buffet, a DJ, and a dance floor as well. Therewas a good-sized stage that made the perfect spot for the wedding party. Our caterers were pleased with the well-equippedkitchen space.
