We love the lunch selections at Sanmaru, absolutely five stars. However, we felt the dinner items were overcharged. We ordered... the mandu ($9) and expected some house made dumplings, however, it was the mini Korean dumplings which Costco carries. How Iknow? Because I bought them all the time and am very familiar with the taste. The Korean fried chicken ($11) were Forster Farmchicken nuggets covered in spicy sweet sauce. They weren?t appetizing to be honest. The bulgogi ($38) was not exciting either;bland and low quality meat. We also ordered the grilled mackerel and really liked it tho. The surface was crispy and the meatwas very flavorful and tender. We will only come back for lunch in the future. Read more
Black mold on the inside of the lid. Check the inside before giving it to your kids. I will never go back to this restaurant... ever again. I can't trust the cleanliness that goes into their food preparation. Gross!! Oh my gosh!! Read more

It appeared to be expensive when you look at the menu but after eating here, the quality of meat is pretty good and lot of... volume they serve, I realize the price is fair. As some of else mentioned, staffing is short, you may need to be a bit patient,but the staff seems working hard and everyone was nice and helpful. I would go back again. Read more
I think it has been almost 5 years for me re-visiting SanMaru Grill. It was a bit quieter than before maybe due to... Covid. This place has good Covid safe practice. They asked me and my friends to show our vaccination cards beforeentering. We ordered a Grill Combo #2 (C2) and stone Bibimbap (B2). The grill combo #2 comes with a good variety of beef;marinated short rib, brisket, pork belly, soy paste stew, and sirloin. It was a good portion for 2 to 3 people. You can't gowrong with Bibimbap - especially the one in stone. Overall, SanMaru Grill is a good Korean BBQ place in the Seattle area. It's spacious and clean. The food was also delicious. I would recommend this place if you are craving Korean food or if youare wanting to explore other foods! Read more
