I recently visited Savarino's Pizza and ordered a cheese and sausage pizza. The crust was firm and the edges were rolled. The... crust at the edge was like a nice fresh piece of Italian bread. The sauce was very thick and rich. The sauce had oregano, blackpepper and other spices. The pizza was good, but the sauce was very overpowering. You really didn't get any sausage flavorbecause of the power of the sauce. I didn't really mind because I like a good sauce. Overall it was a good pizza and I wouldreturn. Read more

The sauce and quality of ingredients is incredible! We really enjoy the fresh flavors of each dish. We have only done take out... but the restaurant has a family friendly and old town feel. Very low key and homey feel for just about anyone. Enjoy! Read more

AMAZING broasted chicken! Kids loved the cheesy garlic bread that you get for dining in and we also did an order of mozzarella... sticks. Great stuff and very affordable for family food. Read more
Savarino's Pizza is yummy!! Serve is great. They have a wonderful menu of many Italian cuisine. The food is delicious.
Served us raw sausage on our pizza last week. We asked the owner about it and he argued with us in front of all other customers.... So much so that we became embarrassed and left. That next Monday asked for a refund and he denied it. Embarrassingly insecureowner. Very sad to see such a great potential place ran by such poor ownership. Please be aware. Go to other amazing restaurantsin Shorewood like Macianos. It?s one thing to make a mistake, it?s very different to be so belligerent towards a payingcustomer. Read more
