Never again horrible customer service. 3 workers working on one person order with 3 sandwiches. One guy had no gloves on had the... audacity to put my sandwich in the toaster, then put sanitizer on last. I was there today with my three children to get the special they had 6 inch sub sandwich for free. I heard about the deal on the... news. So my children and I went to get the free sandwiches and the cashier there said that you can only get one sandwich perfamily. I was wondering how could you eat a 6-in sub sandwich when you have children 13, 12 and 10 years old. And on the news itdid not say one sandwich per family when. At the subway in Shorewood Illinois. It was a Caucasian man and his two littledaughters had order the 6-in deal for free I was standing there I did not see him give the cashier any money. I am anAfrican-American she told me that I have to get one sandwich for the family of four I fell I was discriminated against. I willnot go to that Subway again and if you are African-American please think twice before you go to the subway in Shorewood IllinoisI noticed the difference between that Subway and the other Subway down the street the one is Shorewood Illinois the people inthere is prejudice the one down the street on essington road in Joliet they are not prejudice. The prices are very high for what you get and the sandwiches are very small. The bread literally shriveled down after they... toasted my sandwich. The employees do not seem like they enjoy what they do and the chain will gleefully charge you nearly $3.00to make any 6 inch sub a salad!! Makes zero sense to up charge you to remove the bread to make a salad. Also they do not giveyou napkins nor do they have any placed conveniently inside the restaurant. Will never return. They close at 9pm not 10pm. I found this out because I placed an order on the app and I was told my food would be ready at... 9:25pm I got there at 9:20pm to find out that they closed at 9 and there was no one there to refund my order or cancel it.Subway isn’t what it used to be. I’m highly disappointed that they wouldn’t cancel my order and make me drive there tofind out they’re closed. Read more
Very unfriendly employees is the 1st impression. I always order the Philly at other subways and they are great. I just ordered... two from the Subway in Shorewood and it was awful. They have a great picture on the window and it's a very far cry to what youget. They hardly put any meat on the sandwich and the cheese was actually laughable. They give you 4 slices of cheese that wascut so thin you could see through it. Also, the first two pieces had turned color and were dried out, but they put them onanyway. I did ask them to replace at least one of them. After heating there was no sign of cheese and no tasting of any. Their prices are much higher than the Subway's in Joliet. I'd go the little extra distance to the one on Esssington. They didpile the green pepper and onion on it; I guess to make it look like it was worth the 12+ dollars. Read more
I ordered two Philly Steaks and neither of them had any meat on them. Received two sandwiches made of bread, green pepper and... onion. Then, the employee on the phone was completely rude and refused to give me the owner’s name. Never again, and I will becontacting Subway corporate. Read more
