I work nearby so when weather is decent I walk there for lunch or a baked treat and coffee. Toasty food. Nice friendly folks... working there. Service is pretty quick too. They can't always accommodate my requests (e.g. bell peppers already in the mix ofveggies so I can't order the dish with no peppers) but are nice about it. Read more

Delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great service with dine-in and takeout options. The creamy french onion soup is... amazing, wish they still had it every day rather than resigning it to just Thursdays! Read more

The food is very good, and it?s a nice, pleasant place. But they never get my order right, and nickel and dime any alterations.... I?m charged, but always leave with something missing. Sometimes the umbrellas aren?t out and it?s hot, but it?s a nice patio. Read more

Bread was hard and burnt, and not burnt in a buttery good way. Got a lot more bread than I did actual sandwich. It's unfortunate... because I changed my mind last minute to the chicken, bacon, ranch versus a regular menu item. Read more

As a vegan, I noticed they do have a few seemingly vegan items on their menu, but you have to ask about cheese because sometimes... it's a hidden ingredient. Like with the Tomato Artichoke Basil noodle bowl, it has pesto in it, which is normally made withcheese. So I asked the cashier about it and she pulled out an ingredient binder and tried to look it up, but had no successfinding it in the book. So I ordered the Portabella Quinoa bowl instead and specifically asked for no cheese, just in case. Itwas quite tasty, but definitely check your teeth after eating it 'cuz the quinoa likes to hide in between. As far as Covidsafety measures, no one is wearing masks and that includes the staff (see photo) and the customers are socially distancingthemselves. It doesn't appear the City Market is encouraging safe practices on their own except for a lone bottle of handsanitizer at the register. So while I'd love to give this place 4 stars for food, I have to knock a star off because of the laxsafety precautions. Read more

We had a lovely brunch here. The restaurant is filled with the aroma of their housemade soups, breads, and baked goods. The... Dante Fe salad was an absolute delight, not at all your typical southwest salad. Fresh herbs and housemate dressing with justthe right combination of fresh vegetables and bite-sized, tender chicken (optional). This is the perfect place to have a cozybreakfast or lunch, to work with a hot drink, or to pick up bakery to take home. Read more

Small coffee, tea and sandwich shop. Soup of the day and standards french onion and veggie chili. Salads and pastas. Breakfast... stuff and desserts. Bread for sale can be sliced our whole. Nice selection of muffins. Very good chai tea. This seems to be afavorite after school place for St Roberts school kids and parents. 2 pm is a great time to eat a late lunch. The reviews aboutthe carrot muffins are good advice. If you like carrot cake get some. Good decaf coffee. Read more
