Reviews for Three Lions Pub in Shorewood, WI

The quality has really gone downhill in the last few years and the food is now disappointing and overpriced. Recently ordered... cauliflower bites and the ultimate grilled cheese. The cauliflower bites were literally a cup of cooked cauliflower with saucepoured on top - was expecting breaded cauliflower similar to chicken wings as they previously had these on the menu with thebreading. The “ultimate” grilled cheese was two pieces of unmelted cheese and some cream cheese in between slices of lightlytoasted bread. Their chips are still good, but I won’t be going back any time soon. I have nothing but praises for The Three Lions Pub! The Mrs and I stopped by for dinner this Sunday night since we were in the... neighborhood, and we couldn’t have been more impressed! The Atmosphere: Once you open the door, it truly feels like youstepped into a pub located in the heart of England. From signed football (soccer) jerseys, all the way to the classic dark woodfurniture, every aspect screams of camaraderie and memories to be made! The service: From the moment we walked we weregreeted with smiles! The staff were super considerate, recommending different seating options because a Live Band was playing inthe next area over. Our server was awesome! From prompt service to great small talk, all the way to top notch recommendationsfor food! Even when our server was taking care of other things other staff would chip in and clear plates. Food & Drinks: Nowlet me tell you as a true Wisconsinite through and through, I’ve never had a better Old fashioned Brandy sweet. The epitomeof perfection, I can’t express how sad I was once I realized I finished my glass. Food portions are insane! We both orderedthe fish and chips, the fillets of cod were massive, fresh , and perfectly battered! The tartar sauce was surprisingly light andnot overpowering at all! For appetizers we had the onion rings with the barbecue dipping sauce, and I have only one word todescribe them: ADDICTING. All in All I give Three Lions Pub a 5/5 hands down, and recommend you stop by when you have thechance! Read more

Very good food, coffee was great, service was friendly and attentive. TLP was not busy for a Sunday morning but there was a lot... going on in the 414 that weekend. This was our first brunch here and we will be back to try other menu items. Read more

We had our 30 year class reunion there. It was nice. But the staff was not as friendly. Especially those of us who are black.... Not surprised at all. I don't drink so at least they could have offered us some water. At 1point I needed a towel just to wipe upsome water to help a friend. The girl acted as if I spoke another language. Read more

Great pub atmosphere and the lads have done the auld country proud with the decor. I was there in early evening so it was a bit... quiet but I'm sure it would be a top place for a knees-up. Bangers and mash was lovely once the kitchen sorted out a littlemisunderstanding, and the sweet toffee pudding was a bit of all right. Google that, Yanks, before you think I'm insulting thechef. ???? Cheers, mates! Read more
