The food is honestly fine, nothing amazing, but not bad by any means. The thing that brings this chili's stars down so low is... the service. No utensils to eat with, no drinks refilled, having to constantly ask someone for said things over and over again.Food was cold by the time I had a fork and knife to eat it with. I could understand if they were slammed and short staffed orso, but there were only like three tables when I was there, and at least two servers. I'm not picky, I'd like to think I'mpatient, that I give everyone the benefit of the doubt every chance I can... But that patience had limits. I had not eaten atthis chili's since the pandemic because the service/wait times were dreadful during that time. I waited till just recently to goback, and they have not really recovered it seems. I used to eat there all the time, and I loved it. It's a shame, but probablywon't be back anytime soon. If you do stop by, they have a pretty good meal for one combo. By far the WORST dining experience I have ever had in Shreveport. We were seated and waited over 10 minutes for someone to even... speak to us. Never received drink refills. Appetizer was cold. Ordered a To Go order, it was brought out with the main meal on aplate. Saw at least two tables in the area we were seated that had not been cleaned since we sat down; we were there over anhour. We went and had margaritas I should have known the two for one were gonna be a problem. The margaritas tasted like gasoline. So... we ordered their $6 margarita of the month super cute and tasty. Our server Asia was a sweet young lady and so was Courtney. Sowe ordered and I had a chipotle chicken mex bowl and my friend had a chicken salad that came with pita chips. Everything wasfreezing cold so our waiter went and got the MOD Big John so we told him what was going on he had the audacity to tell us he hadjust taken it out of the microwave. What the hell, after demanding fresh food we paid and left. Chilli's why are y'all cookingcustomers chicken in the microwave? Do you know that customers can get salmonella or food poisoning? My wife and I never saw our waitress until we paid our bill. Our order was taken by other staff because the waitress never... showed. Chips were extremely stale and my wife ordered the Cajun Pasta which had RAW shrimp. There was only 1 person workinghard trying to compensate for the horrible staff. We were seated immediately as we entered. The server was taking our drink order as we were sitting down. Had the triple dip... appetizer. It was very fresh and tasted good. We had the smokehouse plate with the sausage, brisket quesadilla, and friedchicken strips. The corn on the cob was deep with flavor. I wish I had 2 of those. Overall good selection. I wanted to eat lunch at Chili's for my birthday. My son and I got there at 2:00 and requested a booth as I did not want to eat... at the area by the bar because I did not feel comfortable. It was a simple request but she said we could not sit there becausethere was not a server okay they literally would have to walk an extra 5 ft to get to our booth so she would not help us so weleft to go eat elsewhere. Ordered delivery. Didn't receive my kids meal nor my appetizer for my food. Contacted the store to let them know and they acted... like they didn't make a mistake. If I had the food I wouldn't have called. Definitely not a free type person. Don't order hereafter the sun goes down here you might not half your full order. I understand people make mistakes, but this has happened tooften here. My last delivery order here EVER. I will only dine in or take out maybe. The manager said he refunded. I'll know ina few days. Went here for a complementary Veterans Day lunch with my wife. Food was great. The service was to be expected due to the... Veterans Day lunch time rush which made the atmosphere somewhat lack luster due to other customers impatience. Still a pleasantexperience for me and my wife. Read more
