Well, finally went to Gullos! Wanted the Thursday lunch special. Chicken fried Steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans,... glazed carrots, toast! Got there about 2:30, and I would recommend going about 11am or 12 noon if you want the special! We weretold they were ALL OUT of mashed potatoes, green beans, & the carrots? We did get the steak & gravy, was good but small, toast,salad, & burnt French fries?!? Some fries were so hard & crispy it looked as if they were cooked twice?? And as we were about toleave, they brought out a cart full of glazed carrots & green beans?!? She says, oh these are for our TO-GO orders? SO,apparently their TO-GO ORDERS are more important than the patrons who actually Dine-In? So, $33.00 later, we left! Not Happy,Not Impressed, Not Cheap, and NOT going back! Excellent home style food. This place is one of my favorites for lunch. Plus you can get fresh produce while you are there.

BY FAR the best burger you can find in Shreveport. The homemade bun was super fresh, the patty and bacon was incredibly... flavorful and juicy. Combined with fresh local produce on top, you can't beat this burger in shreveport. The sweet potato frieswere crispy and seasoned perfectly. The store is full of homemade jams, cakes, biscuits, frozen meals, as well as locally grownproduce. Gullos is an oasis in the cultural desert of shreveport. The only negative part of this experience was that I didn'tfind this place sooner. Read more

This little store was pleasant surprise. Was hungrybut no time to dine. Googled "food near me". Small deli good variety... ofchoices. Chose sub. The sub turned out fine. The service was over the top. Staff offered to take to vehicle for me.i said it ablock down. No problem. Such a surprise. Service like that so rare today. Read more
