First time here. We attended a rehearsal dinner. The food was good, but it was a little chaotic with food and alcohol orders.... I do believe that the wait staff really did their best, but wasn't quite prepared for the large gathering. Would still recommendpeople give them a try. Read more

They were incredibly busy and short on workers tonight however, the food and drinks were absolutely incredible. Some of the... best food I've had in the area! The waiters / waitresses were so sweet and did their absolute best. We were patient as anydecent person should be when a restaurant is short workers and doing their best. I highly recommend. Officially my favoriterestaurant in Shreveport Bossier! Read more

The space is small but beautiful. I feel like we were served by the best waitress. She was very friendly and sweet. However I... can not rate the restaurant off of her great customer service! THE FOOD IS BLAND?.If I am going to spend over $100 I should atleast enjoy 50% of my order. We had a table of 14 reserved.. if anyone does not show up it?s a $25.00 charge per person.. that?sridiculous. Overall I think you should read the reviews before you order lol. Read more

First time visiting this place. Went here to celebrate my son's birthday. Wasn't as impressed with the food for the prices. Had... to send one order back because it wasn't seasoned well so it tasted bland and not palatable. Not sure if I'll eat hear again. Read more

We drove all the way over to Sauvage to try the Sunday brunch menu. The surrounding area was nice, the restaurant was ok with... their dumpster in the open instead of its concealed fenced in area, mops laying up against the building. Once we got inside, wewere greeted by a host & seated. There are two seating areas, both are rather tight with no outside dining option. We wereseated, but it was about a few minutes for our drink order but waited 20+ minutes to put in our food order while other tableswere being served. I ordered chicken & waffles, my food was bland. There was a pinch of salt in the chicken tender batter butthat waffle tasted like dry paper. My daughter enjoyed her endless mimosas & her crab cake Benedict. I thought the crab portion, they use real crab, was small compared to the muffin it sits on. My wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak & mashed potatoes. Wehad crab cakes, small in portion, & devil eggs, small eggs with some paprika, I didn't think these were worth the price. I alsohad a mud martini, it was okay with a very small hint of chocolate that was barely noticeable. Food presentation was nice. As Iate, I looked at the decor and noticed there was large webs with dust stretching across the chandelier, the chandelier isdirectly over the table with patrons dishes. Nobody wore masks. I would probably give another dish a try but I wouldn't make aspecial out of the way trip for it. Read more

Sauce has a nice atmosphere and good amount of sitting. They have a simple but creative brunch. The only downside is the water. ... This is a low point for most restaurant in the Shreveport-Bossier area. I would recommend buying a drink if you are a customer. However, the restaurant should use a filter or sparkling water as their standard water...never serve straight tap water. Read more

I have to say this was the first time we've ever been here and it was very nice. The room was well lit and the atmosphere was... inviting. The waitress was very friendly and information at first but then we didn't see enough of her later. I thought mysister's salad was a bit lame. Needed more greens. My wife had the tuna nachos which were fabulous. Highly recommend those. Theentrees were extremely tasty but mine was not hot enough for my satisfaction. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her chicken fried steakwith fresh green beans. Our desserts were incredibly excellent. The key lime pie was wonderful it had just enough zest to makeyour palate take notice. My wife had the vanilla creme brulee and she was extremely satisfied with the opening crunch. The onlyissue I had was that they didn't take the opportunity to offer bread to soak up all the wonderful juices and gravy we had left. That is an upsell opportunity that they need to embrace. I want to come back for more but they need to understand I desire morewhen it comes down to my evening. We plan on returning and give them another shot to incorporate a little bit of laggnape.
