Ordered online: enchiladas, a burrito, and a side of queso with chips. They followed the special instructions we requested. The... food was filling and delicious! The queso was just the right amount - I've ordered a side of queso elsewhere and gotten a tinycup. We are looking forward to eating here again. Read more

Well this turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food was actually some of the best Mexican food I've had in years. The... service was decent. We were making plans for this to be a regular stop whenever we passed by Sibley. Then it came time topay. We had ordered two items totaling $22.50, plus some tax. The total I was told was right at $34. Hmm, seems a bit high. They overcharged me by at least $10, and when I questioned it, I was first told that the prices had gone up and the new menushadn't been printed. I said, I ordered off the menu I was provided, with prices printed. So I asked to see the itemized check, but there wasn't one. They were just keying numbers into a calculator. I asked what the prices were on the items we ordered, andgot the same numbers as was on the menu. Where's the extra charge? Then I was told that spoonful of green sauce I asked for onmy burrito cost an extra $3, then it was $4, then it was $4.50. $10 for the burrito and $4.50 for the spoonful of sauce on top? Still not adding up. Then I was told that they charge $3 for the chips and salsa which I didn't order. They bring chips andsalsa to the table upon seating, just like every Mexican restaurant in the country does gratis! Apparently this restaurantcharges you $3 for the chips and salsa they bring which you didn't order. The owners apparently don't speak English, and thetwo kids running the register and serving the food just kept making up things but could never actually produce an itemized checkshowing what they were actually charging for. In the end, I just paid the bill and left. I did cut the tip in half from what Iwould normally leave. She did actually get the order and serve the food, but the final bill was just a fabrication. We certainlywon't be going back to this place. It's too bad. We were actually looking forward to enjoying more of the food, but not afterthe experience of that bill. Read more

Amazing authentic Mexican food! My favorite part as a mama to a toddler is how family friendly they are.

The food and service I would say is fantastic. However, for me pricing is never consistent. If you don't mind paying for more... than what is listed then it won't be a problem for you. Example: list price on menu for an item is $10-- bill total comes to $14for a dine in experience one week, the next week it's $13.25, the next it's $12. A carry out order for 2 of the exact same itemwas $26 and some change. It lists price on menu for chips and salsa is $2.00. I assume they charge $2.00 per person regardless.Even if 2 people are sharing one bowl. The food itself is great. I have yet to have any food I didn't like. The chips arehomemade and fresh and the salsa!!! They have 5 different kinds of varying levels which is absolutely fabulous for a salsajunkie! You can also have any salsa as a side or put in any menu item. While the portions aren't as big as other Mexicanrestaurants I have always left full just don't expect to take leftovers home usually. I would recommend this restaurant toanyone to eat but with a warning that their bill maybe more than they expect. Update: pricing consistency is getting better. They absolutely have accommodated every request to tweak a menu item as I've requested. The guacamole is fresh and made toorder. Read more

Nice family style Mexican restaurant. We were the only ones in there for lunch. Our server was very nice and I am assuming g she... was the only one serving and cooking when we were there. Most of the dishes were luke warm, but very good. The chips werehomemade and the salsa was very good. The prices are great! I had a huge plate of nachos and they were delicious! Read more
