A couple of nights ago we ordered two pizzas from Brothers Tavern. It was unfortunately an unsatisfactory experience. I visited... the manager and she suggested a re-do. We had pizza again last night and it was terrific. My experience has been that if you?vegot a problem with a business to discuss it with the owner or manager to find a good solution. The business owners don?t wantdissatisfied customers and the manager at Brothers was no different. I?m glad we found a good solution and I left a satisfiedcustomer. Read more
As a local to the area, I quite enjoy having the Tavern close by! The waitresses are fantastic and the food is too! its clean... and in the nice weather you can get some fresh air without getting sun burned! It's my go to for wing feast with friends(pineapple curry is my favorite), my birthday lunch (which by the way was delicious), and even an occasional evening out whenthey host kareoke, where way to much fun is had by all ;) Read more
Not impressed, took more than an hour to get our meal, the burgers were dry and burnt, kitchen staff had no hair nets, and were... dirty. Not what you would expect for a semi open kitchen! The tables are extremely close together, and my partner had to sit atthe corner of our table. We wanted a summer patio to enjoy an evening meal and Brothers Tavern was the perfect choice. The food was hot, fresh and... delivered in good time. We ordered the pickle coins, a burger with fries and some wings. The wings were fantastic and they had alarge selection of flavours. The burger was served on a fresh bun with fresh veggies and the burger was homemade. The deep friedcoins and fries were not greasy at all. The atmosphere was relaxed and summery. Second time eating here since new owners took over the last time we got pizza which was meh to say the least? Couldn?t get... nachos because ?they don?t do that for takeout anymore? which they had to call back to tell me. So we got wings as our appieinstead. The wings were so skinny there was more bone than meat, & I highly doubt the total of 9 that we received actuallymeasured up to the advertised lb/order. They didn?t taste great either. We also ordered the ?KD? bites for my toddler, I triedone, and they are not made with actual Kraft dinner, instead a bitter tasting in-house made Mac & cheese. Kid wouldn?t touchthem and I didn?t blame him. Then for the entrees? My mom and I both got the 2 piece fish and chips, we each had one piece thatwas just okay, But one of her pieces was so soggy it looked like mashed potatoes inside, and one of mine was so rubbery Icouldn?t eat it. Then to top it all off, we had ordered gravy with both the meals for our fries, which we were charged for, butnever received. Not impressed & we won?t be going back even for sit in dining. Thought It was strange nobody could tell me what yellow dog beer they had on tap. The server had no idea, when she asked the 2... girls behind the bar they also had no idea. Telling me it?s just yellow dog beer is not an answer :( There was more front ofhouse staff than customers and somehow the service was still lacking. Food was good. Read more
We had pre-ordered pizzas for my family for after father's funeral. 16 pizzas that were available a little earlier than expected... and were delicious. The food and prices were good. Great Saturday night for karaoke with some beautiful singers. Had a fantastictime. I go here on Saturday evenings for karaoke. Fast and courteous service. A good and fun time. Read more
