I had a great experience with Amatos Pizza today. The lovely lady taking the order took my order, but when delivered it was... wrong. We wanted a unique order with Alfredo sauce, and after speaking to the owner he sent us a new order with no charge. Herectified the situation and was very kind on the phone. I have never written a food review in my life. But this was a horrible experience. i ordered one thing and received another. I... was just going to eat what they sent. I bit into the sandwhich and had to spit it out. It tasted and smelled like ammonia. Igagged. I immediately called this place to let them know that something in this sandwich was bad. Maybe the mayo? You can?t eventell because everything at this point smells horrible. They Put me on with a manager who told me that I received the wrongthing. They were upset that I received the wrong thing because what I received was more money but meanwhile how is that myfault. When I told him about the issue they put me on hold and came back and told me that they would make me the same thingagain. I told them that I did not want the same thing again because I did not know what was bad and the sandwich. I asked forjust a cheeseburger. They told me that they would not make me a cheeseburger. Wow!! I have been seeing Amato' s pizza advertising on marketplace. Don't know why because I live 45 minutes from there. The... Brooklyn style pizza on the ad picture looked amazing. So on my way to Philly I was passing in the area of Amato's and decidedto try their pizza. Not only did I love it but my picky Philly family all loved it. Big hit, great pizza. I will definitively be back. I have had great pizza all my life. This is one of my favorites! Read more
Fantastic! We hardly order out anymore. Hurt my neck today so we had no choice. Read some reviews from Amaot's and hoped for the... best. It was a great choice. Pizza was on point crispy crust, sauce was good. Cheese fries were good, Burger done perfectly,wings perfect and we also got funnel cake fries which were slamming. Wish i took pictures but it was eaten to quickly lol.Recommend this place for sure! Read more
My Brooklyn pizza was amazing! So we're the Pepperoni Rolls. Next time I just need it cut lol. Will be coming back SOON.

This place is on a rapid decline. Service has become worse within the last 2 times we've ordered. Fries have been so greasy,... they go through the bag, pizza has been like card board. The employees who answer the phone, do not care about customer service.When you try to explain a problem, they say they're getting the manager, then the same girl gets on the phone and just says thatshe's sorry but you can go someplace else. So that is what we're doing. Social media is king these days as far as word of mouth. Read more
