My wife and I stopped coming here over a year and a half ago because the service was terrible on multiple previous visits. We... decided to give it another try tonight and we were very well taken care of. The staff were all friendly and it appeared to be alot of staff in the restaurant. The menu is packed with options. Our apps came out very fast and tasted great. The main courseswere also very good and very fresh tasting. Unfortunately my medium rare prime rib was tough to cut and chew but it was cookedto the right temperature and looked great so it was fine. Cassie the bartender was very personable and friendly too. Food is not good at all. Reminds me of microwaveable food. Had macaroni and cheese with tenders. The Mac and cheese had no... cheese and alot of oil. My entire family was not satisfied with their meal. The waitress we had and the service we received wasthe only upside of the evening. The staff was amazing. We went late night so service was a little slow but I understand It was an hour before closing time. I usually don't go in ... restaurant if it's that late but we were starving!!!! Our waiter was super friendly and the food came out quick. I don't knowif it's because I was starving but but food was amazing. I haven't had a bad meal at the Cross Keys road location. It's funnywe've had the Same waiter I'm so bad I forget his name but he is amazing!!!! My only complaint is the bartender with the pinkhair does not make a good Long Island Iced Tea It tasted like straight sour mix and was instant heartburn. Needless to say Iwon't be ordering that when she is behind the bar. She needs to be retrained to learn how to make one for that is not how it issupposed to taste...horrible!!!! We paid extra for top shelf Long Island iced tea and I don't think there was any alcohol inthere at all nor anything that tastes like a nice tea it was sweet it was sweet disgusting this we couldn't even drink them. Welove going for the late night happy hour you can't beat the deal you'll spend more than that at wawa or any other fast foodplace that's open late night But this includes an alcoholic beverage ( Just don't order the Long Island iced tea when the Girlwith the pink hair is working) We got 3 different appetizers in appetizers and 2 top shelf Long Island Iced Teas Includingthe tip, which was over 20% , was $40 total!!! My cousin and i went to Applebee's; We got the 2-35 special. My cousin brought the chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes. I... bright the hickey bacon cheeseburger. We sampled each others meals. When she gave me some of her food it look like fried animalhair was in her food. We played with it, dissected it to make sure. We complained and was compensated very nicely. Afterclosely looking at the food, we came to the conclusion that it was mushroom hair. Making us question if the mushrooms wherebeing clean prior to cooking. Read more
