Called this restaurant to place order for pick up. The menu online is very limited so tried to get information as to what was... available. The man that answered the phone is very rude and seemed to take offense when I told him the menu didn't show much. Iam a Jamaican for another state and wanted to support my fellow Jamaican. To top it off, he hung the phone up before I couldfinish speaking. I didn't even have a chance to try the food. My boyfriend and I were trying to find soul food places in the area and came across flava. I?m not sure what the other reviews... are talking about because the food was absolutely delicious. We both ordered the fried chicken platter with baked Mac and Yamsand the portions were just enough and flavorful! The price also isn?t absurd like people were talking about! There are manyother restaurants in the area who are charging similar or even higher prices. The owner is super friendly and truly a kindsoul! He runs this place all by himself and deserves way more credit! We recommend this place 10/10 times and encourage peopleto try the island mango drink! It?s amazing. They don?t give you enough food. If you order a large it look like a small but it cost large bucks. I order a large jerk... chicken 3 different times they keep giving me three tiny drumsticks, EACH TIME NO OTHER PART OF THE CHICKEN. all sides areedible but not good. Just order and spent over sixty dollars Extra large seafood was dried up and dark looking two pieces of... fish and five shrimp not authentic rice and peas I asked for gravy on my rice no gravy order Extra large oxtail and a largeplatter received a small/medium plate. The cornbread was mush. Cabbage was tasteless, macaroni and cheese was Kraft Mac andcheese. I should have cooked or order from Wingstop. My first and last time.
