We visited here on a business trip from Texas. I?m originally from Florida where we have Haitian restaurants on every corner but... moved to Texas and we have NONE. When visiting any city I definitely look for a Haitian restaurants. After reading the reviews Iwas a little skeptical but I know sometimes reviews can be biased. We ordered legume, griot, chicken and oxtails. 10/10!Everything was amazing. We walked in starving and walked out stuffed. The portion size was great. The food was seasoned toperfection. Delicious food. Have been here a few times and would definitely order from them again.
Too salty and their hot wings are not that good also their gryo makes my stomach hurt and have long sessions with the toilet.... Their sauce is also not that good. The white rice tastes blank and gets hard after a short time. From what i see customerservice is good so thats what brings my rating up. Read more
First time trying Hatian food and I will definitely be back. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. I had no idea... how to pronounce anything and she was very helpful. When i picked up my food, the man behind the counter was very friendly. Thefood was great. I got the fried Turkey platter and the Goat platter. Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back. I asked for 1 oxtail platter $18 and 1 chicken platter $15. Instead I got 2 chicken platters (for $33) So basically I was ripped... off of $3. I tried the food for the first time. It was good. But much smaller portions than where I used to live. They used to put the rice... in a separate container than meat. That is better so we can share split up the food when we got home. Why does this food givesmaller portions and put everything in one container? Also, they did not give much sauce. We usually get a cup or two of the redsauce. I didn't get it with my fired pork. There was a little bit in foil with the chicken. They should give larger portions forthe price they charge for the food. Most Haitian cuisines offer much more rice and meat for the same price, from where we usedto live in North Jersey. Read more
