It's a nice pub to go for a bite to eat before heading to yhe Airport. The staff is nice. Food is good and reasonable.
Wing night every Tuesday since we moved here last year. Angie and the amazing staff always welcome us and know our order by now.... The wings are so good. The beer is cold and the laughter is free! Just for posting and tagging them weekly we were treated witha free drink this week. So nice of them! We usually dine in but on occasion we have also had take out and there is no differenceto the quality of the food. Read more
Was seated promptly, my order was taken, then quickly forgotten. I ordered the fish and chips, it arrived warm and... undercooked. My waitress never came by to see if all was well, and her coworker; black hair, dress, stockings, shoes, waswearing so much perfume that it killed the aroma of food and desire to linger over a pint of ale. My favorite menu item is an appetizer called Shrimp stuffed Avocado. It is fantastic. Today on their feature menu, they offered... a variation of this delectable Appy. Curried Seafood Avocado that came with a Ceasar salad or tossed salad and roti. Simplyfabulous, at a great price. After visiting the nearby Aviation museum (a must see), and being to early for the ferry back to Victoria, we stopped for... refreshments. I can't speak to their food as we didn't eat, I will speak to the service, it was good. Also I found the pub to beclean contrary what I read by some other person who has a sum of 2 reviews to their name. I will try their food next time Ivisit family in the area. I was not a fan of the parking lot but I think there was parking in the back. I parked next to theliquor store. Maybe the pub will comment whether this is the case. Read more
nice joint, great beers, but service is mediocre, probably due to pandemic shortage of staff......liked this place for sure.
Epic proportions. Pints, wings, and calamari were all excellent. Value for what you get is amazing.
