Nicely laid out store. Easy to find stuff. By no means the cheapest but one of the very few chain stores with a real selection... of fresh fish. Seasonal specials are good buys as well. Read more

This review is about the flower shop. Went in today and spent $50 on a couple bundles of standard flowers. I was walking so I... asked the attendant to put some wet paper towel around the bottom of the stems. She said it won?t do anything but we can giveyou a bucket. I reminded her I was walking so the paper towel would be fine. She kept saying it wouldn?t work in a veryirritated tone. I asked her to please do it for me anyway. She did it and then when she was finished just slid the flowersacross the counter to me without a glance or even a thank you. And then was all cheery and nice to the next customer. save yourmoney and go to brown?s florist instead. They offered to do that without me even asking they were super helpful and friendly andthanked me for my business. I can?t believe the there are still businesses thinking they can?t afford to have good customerservice. Read more

It used to be - really- a pain in the neck going there with very few cashiers operating...the lines were always 3 to 4 people... before you get attended.. now they have the machines and make the grocery shopping faster! 4 stars because I dislike enormouslyto see live crabs and lobsters tide up waiting for the right customer... sorry.. I've never had a problem with buying bad/expired food anywhere else. I don't return things, but do keep it in mind after. The... latest from this Thrifty's was a way past edible veggie sandwich. I got some bagels home and noticed they were expired whenthey were bought. Maybe that's my fault, but a store should not have expired food on the shelves. Overall the prices are onthe high side. Other than that, the staff is mostly great. I also like the flower shop. Read more

This review is about the Flower Shop. A glorious range of plants and flowers, with lots to choose from. Staff are knowledgeable... about everything they sell, and they told me how to look after my Aloe Vera that I purchased there. I made an impulse purchaseon a bunch of pretty flowers, by the door. They looked a bit too skinny to fill the vase I had, so two bunches would have beenbetter. Such a purchase might be around $50. You get beauty and life for your money - not to mention Brownie Points. Beautyand life are fleeting and no amount of money can bring them back. I recommend seizing beauty and life, while the going isgood... Read more
