Its a dinner called The Spot and it was nicely decorated as a dinner. Due to staffing you place your order and they are busy so... be patient. Well worth the wait. My family traveled into Sydney, Ohio and found this old, drive-in burger joint. The food is good and prices reasonable. The car... hop was so kind! My kids had malts and commented that it was the best they ever had! I had the Big Buy Burger which is a tripledecker burger with homemade tartar sauce. It was a gloriously greasy burger. I am sure if we are ever near Sydney again we willbe coming back! I highly recommend your family visit The Spot. Read more
FABULOUS cheeseburger!! Also had the pecan cream pie, and that was good. Old fashioned drinks like red cream soda!
Great atmosphere, retro diner with authentic feel. I had the Court street burger with sweet potato fries. Also had the pecan... cream pie. Burger was delicious, but make sure you ask for condiments, I would recommend the bbq sauce. Great value for theprice you pay. Will visit again Read more

The Spot has seen better days, I'm sure (and I say this as a first-time customer). I nearly gave two stars - due to the restroom... situation - but I'm being nice due to the pandemic they're coming out of. I dined in with my wife and son. The bathrooms were inSEVERE need of cleaning, but I will spare you and not go into detail. We each ordered cheeseburgers and onion rings, which wereacceptable. My malt was basically a cup of soft serve ice cream (spoon required). Some of the booths and tables were broken orin bad shape. The Spot could use a renovation, but they can start with better cleaning and a more welcoming attitude from thestaff - neither of which is very expensive. Read more
Great place, looks retro. Go up to counter and order, lots of great sandwiches to chose from, I ordered the Big buy baskets... with onion rings, my husband ordered Tenderloin sandwich with sweet potato fries, and we shared a piece of peanut butter pie. EXCELLENT food and fantastic service. Highly recommended. Read more
This is a small town restaurant. You can dine in or sit in the carport and have your food delivered. The food is great. The... service is prompt. The spot has all the items you might expect from a "Cheese-burger, fries & a Coke" restaurant, plus theirfamous pies. Mouthwatering! I go there as often as I can. Read more
