I came here to celebrate my birthday (solo dining) and they gave me a nice table right beside the beautiful fish tank AND even... gave me birthday card! The seafoam margarita was just perfect, a salt foam is truly innovative. The short rib was so succulentand cooked to perfection, the accompanying vegetables and mashed potatoes were perfect as well. Service was so so good, Amandawas the most perfect server/waitress, very nice and really helpful with offering menu suggestions + the manager Daniel even cameto check on me , such great service I felt very welcome. I would rate this place as solid. The steak was alittle salty but still had a nice flavor. The Lobstar Bisque was... excellent!!!!! The filet was good. Unfortunately the key lime pie was too tart and was paired with a mint sauce that was notvery good.The Au gratin patatoe and mash potatoe were good.The wagu beef french fries did not have a good flavor. Summer House was by far our favorite restaurant on our 9 day anniversary trip to Siesta Key & Anna Maria Island... The steak was... absolutely incredible, wedge salad was delicious with a green dressing... The jalapeno bacon mac & cheese and mashed potatoeswere amazing. They made our 20 yr anniversary a special occasion with a hand written note & dessert. Can't wait to go againnext time in the area. (Filet mignon was aged for 40 days!) Read more

Amazing dining experience. We were here for an 80th Birthday Party and we loved everything. Some of the best food I've ever had.... A few of the highlights were melt-in-your mouth filet mignon, lobster, lobster mac and cheese and French Onion soup. The Frenchonion soup was the best I've ever had with both slivered and pearled onions. Fabulous! Wow!! Siesta Key Summer House Steak & Seafood set the bar really high!! It started at the front door where we were greeted by... two hostesses that were super friendly and knowledgeable. We were seated in a cozy table perfect for us! The hostess gave us ananniversary card and wished us many years of happiness. Jeffrey our server was off the charts!! He suggested a couplecocktails and told us about a couple wines. After our wine arrived Jeffrey told us in detail about the specials. My mouth waswatering. ???? We ordered salads, entrees and 3 sides to share. The filet melted in our mouths. The four cheese jalapeño Macwas awesome, scalloped potatoes were amazing and ”my” bourbon+bacon Brussels sprouts were so good!! We moved onto dessertwhere Jeffrey suggested the chocolate cake. We went with it! OMG!!! They served us a giant piece of cake that was to diefor!!! Finally a complimentary champagne toast to end the meal! We will be back!!! So if you really want a top notch steak this is the place to go little pricey but worth it. So to help you out l would split a... salad also split a side dish they are large Definitely enough for 2 people if you order the onions and mushrooms with yoursteak they give you enough for 4 people This will help you save some money for drinks and desserts enjoy! I am never one to leave reviews, but this place was absolutely phenomenal. We made an online reservation, as we are in town for... our honeymoon. We were quickly seated upon arrival. They surprised us with a very special dining experience , including rosepetals, candlelight, and personalized card with well wishes towards our recent marriage. Theo was an outstanding waiter- veryprofessional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We splurged on a Tomahawk Ribeye, and it did not disappoint! In addition, we orderedFrench onion soup, mashed potatoes, and asparagus - we shared all of the above. Dessert was a specialty chocolate cake - all wecan say is WOW!
