Star Thai & Sushi has a big menu with a lot of selections from Sushi to Japanese and Thai food. We eat a lot of sushi and found... these rolls to just be ok at best. Beef noodles were a bit salty and the salmon teriyaki came out completely raw. The waiter wasfriendly and brought a new one but it took forever. Read more

Golf was one of the most amazing bartenders/ servers/ managers I have ever come into contact with. Being in the industry for 16... years I know great service when I see it. My boyfriend and I did a little get away to siesta key from st petersburg for thenight and were so happy we were in the mood for sushi. This man's smile lights up the entire room. You must try this restaurant! Chef Angel is amazing! He made a special appetizer for us, the Tuna Crunch. OMG! We lived in SE... Asia for over 10 years, and the Thai food at The Star is super authentic and the sushi is fabulous. Prices are very reasonable,but we were just bowled over by the food. Manager Golf was super attentive, service is great. Cocktail "sex on the beach" isyummy. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
