All the food was absolutely delicious, but there were a couple of items we ordered that didn?t seem to be worth the amount we... paid for it. The bronzed black grouper was really good, but the person who ordered it didn?t really like the sauce or the quinoaas much as they thought they would. The Lobster Maki roll was large (10 pieces) but the filling was mostly rice and wasn?tnearly as impressive of a sushi roll for how much it cost. We were seated inside which was nice, but I will say that with thelive music right next to us, it did get a bit loud at times. But they had decent indoor and outdoor seating. But the appetizerswe ordered blew our minds! The short rib grilled cheese bites, shrimp tempura, lobster bisque, calamari?man, they weregood! Between our group, we ordered all the salads and a wide variety of entrees from their menu and loved them. Other thanwhat was mentioned above, there were no more complaints! Read more
Visited the Cottage restaurant for dinner during our trip to Siesta Key. The tuna poke appetizer was amazing and the brussel... sprouts were good but I prefer them more crispy. The portion sizes here were great and the scallops were some of the largestI?ve ever been served. Read more
Cocktails were so good!!!!! My burger was over cooked the first time and i had to send it back but the second round was AMAZING.... Have to order their billionaire burger medium for max tastiness ???? my friend said her short ribs were dry and they in factwere so i would stay away from that option. Scallops were amazing. This place was extremely loud and blostious. Barley controlled chaos. It took us around 30 to 40 minutes to get a table. They... do not take reservations. We arrived around 6:30 pm but we have passed by at various times during our multiple stays and I can'tsay I've ever seen a time where they we're not slammed or there wasn't a wait to be seated. That being said, the Bartender makesa pretty good old fashioned and they have a few good craft beers on tap. We where able to wait at the bar and drink till ourtable was ready. My wife had the Lobster sushi ???? roll and it was amazingly good. Wonderful combination of flavors. I had theBillionaire Burger with the Truffle fries and both were hearty and delicious. Very empressed with both entrees.. the Wheat BeerI had from their on tap selection really hit the spot too. Robin was our server and she was friendly, polite and efficient ather job, even navigating through the controlled chaos that was the inside of the establishment the whole time we where there. The lobster bisque was unbelievable. The seared tuna sandwich was serious eating. Delicious. The strawberry basil cocktail... was too much on the syrup side. That should be refined. The hostess was delightful. This young lady was bubbly and beautifuland made you feel totally welcome. Our server was wonderful. It?s not a five star review because the drinks were a bit on thethick/syrup side. A bit of refinement on cocktails and this is a must visit awesome food destination. Read more
Fantastic food! We arrived around 5:00- it quickly filled up afterward on the back patio. Service was rather slow, but the food... made up for it. Everyone?s meals were excellent, all tasting super fresh. Definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it. TheLobster Maki Roll was incredible. We?ll be back the next time we?re on Siesta Key. Great atmosphere and the covered outside dining was the best spot! Rating is based off my dish, which is the Sushi Rice Salad... because while it was refreshing, light, and healthy it was relatively bland and not very filling. I would definitely offersomething different next time! The lobster bisque was heavy but very tasty for a side or appetizer. Read more
