We had come into eat and my server Clair was running around helping 4 or 5 tables trying her best to help people. A blonde lady... came over and started belittling her in front of everyone. I asked my server if she was ok, she said yes, but it is always likethis. I found out the blonde is the general manager, her name is Ashley. This is ridiculous treatment of employees. Overpriced, poor quality food, table was wet when we sat down. Ordered bowl of soup and house salad. "Bowl" of soup was more... like a cup, no crackers available with our soup and salad, croutons in salad were hard as a rock, ranch dressing was thin aswater. Took a long time to get our salad. We were looking to hit our usual places Monday for lunch, but it seemed like everywhere we went they were crowded and extremely... busy or they weren't that crowded, but lacked the staff to handle having more than what they had! So we elected to stop and tryChili's Bar and Grill. They had a pretty good bunch of customers, but we were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken! Ihad sweet tea, my wife had water, and our little one had a coke. We ordered appetizers of Southwestern Eggrolls and an order ofTexas Fries that had melted cheese, bacon bits, chopped green onions, and sliced pickled jalapenos! Ask of them were really goodto get Started. For my main part of lunch I ordered the Big Mouth Texas Rancher a double Meat cheese burger with bacon slicesand ranch dressing, my wife had the lunch beef fajitas and a salad. Our 7 year old had a small lunch size cheese pizza. Myburger was really pretty good and I was actually impressed that the meat was really juicy and not dried out! It was really agreat burger!!! My wife thought her fajitas were decent, but not really spectacular. Our 7 year old only ate about one and ahalf slices of his pizza out of four! He said the crust was too thick and fluffy and had too much sauce on it! He's used to andfavors thin crust with more cheese than sauce. I'll give a shout out to our waiter who stayed on top of things and kept checkingon us and his other customers while we were there!! The kitchen staff would bring out the food too or table as soon as it wasready, so I have to give them kudos too for bringing our food out hot as it was ready!! So we had a pretty decent experience forour lunch here at our local Chili's! Read more
I usually like eating here but today I ordered some spinach dip for pick up and the serving size was so small. It was $9 for... this small cup that has more extras in it than dip.. either they need to adjust the price of their to go orders on this or getbigger cups because this not near as much as what you get when you are in the restaurant. Edit: I have to change my review toone star because after scooping the tomato?s out I?ve found that the dip fills up under a quarter of the container.
