The food is good, the location beautiful, the service terrific so we really enjoy it. It is a tough walk to and from the... restaurant from the parking lot. They try to provide cart rides, but it's not guaranteed. Anyone with mobility issues shouldplan accordingly or wait till they're able to be sure of a ride. Read more
The food was good. My kids enjoyed their food except my daughter didn't eat the chicken tenders but she's a little picky. Our... server was very sweet and hospitable but there was another waitress who was very rude pushed my daughter in so far into thetable because she was seated on the end and she couldn't get hat she couldn't breathe and said something like "something needsto be done about this!" Later I was in the restroom and came back to my seat and asked nicely several times to get around herinto my seat and she didn't even acknowledge my presence. So I complained to the manager about her terrible service. He seemedto be apologetic and thankful I wasn't looking for a break on my bill which was over $70. However I hope her service hasimproved because it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The food already seemed a little overpriced for Cookeville to me. Went there on the closing day for the season and had never been before. I had the grouper tacos and the hush puppies. The food... was outstanding and the prices were fair. The building is kind of deep back on the water so I personally had to hunt for it butit was 100% worth it. There's indoor and outdoor dinning as well as a bar. Can't wait to go back next year!
