The food is good, the location beautiful, the service terrific so we really enjoy it. It is a tough walk to and from the... restaurant from the parking lot. They try to provide cart rides, but it's not guaranteed. Anyone with mobility issues shouldplan accordingly or wait till they're able to be sure of a ride. Read more
The food was good. My kids enjoyed their food except my daughter didn't eat the chicken tenders but she's a little picky. Our... server was very sweet and hospitable but there was another waitress who was very rude pushed my daughter in so far into thetable because she was seated on the end and she couldn't get hat she couldn't breathe and said something like "something needsto be done about this!" Later I was in the restroom and came back to my seat and asked nicely several times to get around herinto my seat and she didn't even acknowledge my presence. So I complained to the manager about her terrible service. He seemedto be apologetic and thankful I wasn't looking for a break on my bill which was over $70. However I hope her service hasimproved because it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The food already seemed a little overpriced for Cookeville to me. Very mediocre. The food was nothing special brought family today which is Sunday and none of the items we saw online were... available until after 2pm apparently now brunch is only available until then on Sunday. Therefore it was not anything I wouldhave intended to order. Very slim menu at that for brunch and nothing that made you want to return anytime soon. Cheeseburgerwas just a burger no grilled onions on it like advertised. The strawberry pancakes were too thick and heavy and coarse, theberries were inside and not even visible with only maple syrup and butter. The brunch platter was extremely basic, no specialsauces or jellies accompanied the plate and everything was not presented in a fashion you would pay the price for. The dessertwas $8 and a complete fail too simply put nothing was worth repeating or advising anyone. We used to love to come here a fewyears ago and the view was to die for considering you could still come and get a drink and watch the sunset without the food,but the boats have taken over and you could be sitting in any boat dock and see boats. We like to eat here any time we pass through. We had yummy Cheddar cheese biscuits with fillet a couple Sundays ago. The... strawberry salad was so good! Oh, and the rhubarb pie delicious! The blue water grill is a fun place, Beautiful views and wonderful sunsets. to go to the food is great the people are friendly.... Be prepared however for a heck of a walk backup the hill to the parking spot lol Read more
Went there on the closing day for the season and had never been before. I had the grouper tacos and the hush puppies. The food... was outstanding and the prices were fair. The building is kind of deep back on the water so I personally had to hunt for it butit was 100% worth it. There's indoor and outdoor dinning as well as a bar. Can't wait to go back next year!
