I highly recommend trying this place for American style "fast food" Chinese. I think it's the best in downtown SS and also... cleanest inside. No dining inside offered so we always do take-out. I like that they aren't stingy with the portions or ratio ofmeat to veggie; Good value for the money. Always fresh. Never overcooked or wilted veggies. Piping hot & made to order veryquickly. Not the friendliest service but not rude, just all business. I'm not there to make friends I'm there for good food andthey're spot on. Word of caution if you drive there to pick up: turn in the lot slowly or your car will bottom out as there's abig ditch/jump at entrance. Read more

I’ve always liked Golden House but after I went vegan I was limited to what I could eat. When they provided a vegan option... I’m was in love. I’m eating the vegan chicken and broccoli and it’s amazing!! I had the vegan General Tso's chicken and itwas amazing! Great work!! Read more
The best Chinese food in the Silver Spring area; they have the classics, but also an excellent vegetarian menu and healthier... options as well. That said, the fried dumplings are amazing—I highly recommend them, along with the General Tso’s chicken!Also, their delivery is very prompt, and they don’t tend to underestimate the time (they usually arrive 10-20 minutes earlier,in fact). A hole in the wall - really But the food is good, portions are big and it's inexpensive. What else would you like from a carry... out place? The location is at 8200 Georgia avenue in a small shopping plaza right next to Patient First. They have a smallseating area so you can technically dine in. Watch out you Washington Fat Cats! This place is fantastic. There is no sit in dining, however take out is always an option. I... was able to get General Tsos chicken with a side order of boneless spare ribs for under $25.00. what a steal. The chicken wascoated perfectly and the boneless ribs were not too fatty and super flavorful. Next time I find myself in Silver spring forwork, I will be getting this again! Read more
