Food and service was ????, AMAZING, ????, ALL THAT!! I called to order 2 lunch specials today - jerk chicken lunch special and a... curry chicken special. Both were $8. Also ordered fried plantains and a beef patty. Unfortunately, I didn?t take a picturebefore I picked up my fork, and once I picked up my fork and started eating, I didn?t put it back down until I was finished.WOW!! This food was great! Just the PERFECT amount of ?kick? in my jerk chicken. Plantains were done RIGHT! This spot deservesmore recognition! Definitely better than some of the other spots in the area (I won?t name any names). Both of the women that Iinteracted with when I went in to pick my food up were friendly. We were all jamming to the music playing. I?ll definitely beback and next time, I?ll take pictures! For an $8 lunch special, the amount of food received was PERFECT!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! From the moment we walked in to the time we left, Patricio showed the utmost... customer service. He was kind and patient (both of those qualities lacking all over these days) and so had so many morepositive qualities. The food was outstanding, flavorful, and authentic, and generous. The pictures doesn?t do the taste any justice. This is the curry chicken (boneless). My first time eating from here. The food... looked a little dry when I got it but I was pleasantly surprised when I started eating. Very flavorful. Wasn?t dry at all. Niceportion. Customer service was cool. Price was reasonable. I got the oxtail with rice and beans and it was great. I also had a cream soda. The oxtail was very tender. There was plenty of... food. You always want a little more oxtail because they're so good but no complaints. Very nice owner made it simple and easy toplace my order over the phone and pick it up. Read more
Great place for good Caribbean/Trinidadian food. Great flavors, and the dough for the various dishes are fresh and fluffy. Only... has a few seats for dine in, and no liquor. Now I know where to get some good doubles! Read more
I've had a few meals here and they were excellent every time --- simply bursting with flavor! Each order is enough food for 2-3... meals for me. I like that they offer hot sauce on the side so you can control your own heat. They also offer fresh juices andJamaican sodas which are a real treat. Also, service is super friendly and helpful. I did not know what street doubles were but now I can't get enough of them. I really love this! I agree with the other reviewer... Natasha is such a sweetheart!
