It pains me to add this negative review but I must. I paid for a thiebou dieune. When I got home about to have my meal I... noticed they cheated me out of my cut of fish! So disappointing!!! The other side of the fish was missing?. They strategicallydisplayed in the bowl the side that had fish?. As a client I expect honesty and the meal i paid for. Unacceptable butunfortunately expected ? Read more

My first Senegalese experience, it was good. Tables could have been cleaner but definitely come back to try more dishes.

If you have not ate there yet you are missing out. Of course you must eat the thieboudienne. Their fish and and meat are also... great. I love their bissap and ginger juice. Don't forget to get some tchakiri on your way out Read more

Tried them for the first time at the Jollof Rice festival and couldn?t wait to eat their food again! I ordered my food to-go and... it was just as good as the first time I had them. I can?t get enough of their rice!!! I would highly recommend this place. Read more

Food is excellent. Large portions. Clean restaurant. Restrooms are also clean. Service was fast. The staff courteous. Decor is... simple with some African instruments and games. Food is présented in to go boxes with disposable silverware ( blame is onC.rona) I definitely, recommend this restaurant. Plus it is black owned. Read more

I heard about Koite Grill from the Washington Post issue, and knew I had to try this restaurant. I drove today from Arlington to... Silver Spring and met with a nice lady at the cashier that gave us the menu. Many dishes to choose from, my sister and I finallysettled with Thiebou Dienne, Dibi Meat (Lamb option) with plantains, and Degue as dessert. OH MY GOOOOOODNESS!!!! Just tastingthe rice brought us back to our African motherland! It felt like I took a quick trip to Senegal. The smokiness of the rice wasunbelievable, the fish was succulent, the Lamb was carefully seasoned and grilled, even the fried plantains deservedpraises. For Koite Grill, I don't mind driving back to Silver Spring, please Koite family keep up the good work and know thatyour food is highly appreciated!!! Read more
