Ordered chicken panang curry and chicken Pad Thai. Panang curry had nice flavors and good amount of spice, but the curry was... quite runny and watery consistency, rather than a thicker curry. Avoid their Pad Thai. Lack of flavor, thin noodles. Couldbarely taste any peanut flavor or the complex Thai spices you get from their competitors in the area. Decent, but due to theplethora of good to great Thai restaurants in the area, won't be ordering again here. Read more
Lamoon Thai is a wonderful boutique authentic Thai restaurant with a history of great food and one of the best Thai Iced Teas... around. I’ve been going there and greatly enjoying food at this restaurant for the last 20 years or so; since it was in theThai Market. The food has always been great. The service in the old days was stellar. Seriously, they knew my name and reallytreated me as they wanted me to come back. Since Lamoon has taken over, I cannot speak as highly of the service. That said, Iwould still highly recommend Lamoon for its great food. The rating would be a 5-Star if it weren’t for the lack lusterservice in recent years. As someone who constantly is trying different Thai spots around Silver Spring , Lamoon Thai is definitely somewhere everyone... should try. The service and food is exceptional . I love ordering the chicken satay and drunken noodles. If you love Thai foodor craving spice , order from them ! Read more
